I agree with the 1st review. It appears that Dr. Ruskin is very interested in doing surgeries and only surgeries. Otherwise he wants to push you off to a family practice doctor. Although they insist that patients with chronic pain have to be seen every month in order to get their prescriptions, you never see the Doctor unless he's performing surgery on you! Pretty much feels like they're only interested in the $$$. His staff is great though!

Most of the staff, as well as Dr. Ruskin, seemed untrusting and cold. He appears highly skilled, and certainly has good qualifications, but he doesn't listen. And when my insurance company refused to allow a procedure he favored, even after appeals, Dr. Ruskin wouldn't do ANY procedure (although he did arrange for his staff, and later, my primary care physician, to write prescriptions for pain meds). I was left with the impression I was supposed to pay cash for the procedure he wanted to do (which is completely out of the question). I just never felt any kind of connection with this doctor.
