Our daughter undoubtedly learned great technique, but at the expense of some verbal abuse and mood swings by Katerina- just as a prior reviewer ("Sad but True") expressed. The girls often complained that they didn't know who would show up- the good or the bad Katerina.... very unpredictable, moody (sometimes all smiles and joyful, other times crazy and mean). It's also true that the whole business side is very disorganized...things thrown together at the last minute, blame always shifted to others, costumes in very bad shape, etc. Sad but true...

Let me start by saying that I think Irena and Vadim are wonderful people. They have so much to offer young dancers, however, much of the school is a complete disaster.First, their daughter has the destructive force of a tornado. She helps run the business and teaches many of the classes. She has intense mood swings and often verbally abuses the children in her care. Also, it is a very unorganized environment. Multiple times, we showed up for class and the teacher was late or never showed up.The facilities are also in a state of disrepair and are dirty. Classes are pricey$$.If improvements were made in these areas the potential would be endless.

Russian Academy of Ballet offers the most professional ballet training in Orlando. The teachers are all extremely dedicated, and the students improve in technique so rapidly! Vadim and Irina are also amazing with class and choreography!
