I booked and appointment with Atwood because of her great reviews, even thought the salon had sub par ones. Upon arriving, the place was locked and not a single light was on. I waited till someone showed up and she informed me that the owner FIRED Atwood almost 2 weeks ago!!! Would have been nice if the owner had the sense to call Atwoods' clients and cancel her appointments, he obviously don't care much about his business. Don't go here even if you have a Scoutmob coupon the place is totally unprofessional.

Stacy is excellent at cutting, styling and coloring. She is very willing to listen to and work with a client. Salon Lewis is attractive and pleasant and very conveniently located in Buckhead with ample parking.

Guys,go here and get Stacy to cut your hair. She knows what she is doing, she is nice and makes a man feel comfortable. I would not go here is she was not here. The owner has a real great stylist in her.

I came here because of a scoutmob coupon I had, $50 off. I wasn't sure what to think because it was super hard to find. I was surprised at the small size, but my stylist, Atwood was world class! I am very picky about my hair so I have very high expectations, & she met them. The owner, however, was very unprofessional. He talked shop right in front of me, making me very uncomfortable. His way of making appointments is terrible! But go in and see Atwood, get her digits and she take excellent care of you!

I really enjoyed my experience. They really take the time to observe your hair type to give you the right treatments and give good advice on maintaining your hair style. They were very gentle and sweet. They really invest a lot of time into doing your hair to make sure that everything is pure perfection. Simply Wonderful!

My stylist was Tonya Murphy and she did excellent job from beginning to end. Her professionalism and customer service was great for starters The Salon was very clean and comfortable and Tonya is very good at what she does I came in ok and I left very happy. Im from out of town and when I come back to town SALON LEWIS is where I will be. Management was also very friendly and professional.

Atwood has been highlighting and cutting my hair for about 2 years now. She listens to what I want and delivers. She is very talented and really takes her time. She is really about building long term relationships with her customers so she makes sure you are always 100% happy before you leave. You will always have to wait a while so be prepared but isn't a great hair style worth it? I go to Salon Lewis because of Atwood. I would recommend her to anyone!

The only reason I ever heard of this place or went was because of Scoutmob. To start off I had to wait 30 minutes to see the hairstylist who didn't even know I was her customer. The owner had to tell her that I was waiting even though she saw me sitting there! The style was pretty good and the fact that I only had to pay $25 was even better. So I schedule another appointment for two weeks later. Between the appointments I got a call saying that the stylist I had before didn't work out so I would have to reschedule with another hairstylist. Apparently there weren't any openings for the next two weeks so I just said I would call back later. Once I hung up they preceded to call me back FIVE times. I'm guessing they didn't want to lose my business, but really, that's a little stalkerish! I was busy so couldn't call back, but left a voicemail that I would come to the salon for the appointment. When I got there the hairstylists wasn't event there! He was running 30 minutes late (seems like a trend at this salon). So, I had to wait for him, but I must say the final result of the style was great! So, of course, I scheduled another appointment for two weeks from then. An hour before the appointment I get a call from the hairstylist saying that his flight is delayed and he is on the west coast and won't be able to make it. Umm, why are you just now telling me! Horrible customer service. NEVER returning.

Stacey Atwood is a superior hair designer in this comfortable salon. She helped me freshen my look with a natural color choice and a style that is easy to maintain. I have been disappointed by so many stylists who do not understand how to handle curls but not Stacey! Additionally she is a skin care and makeup artist who can bring out any woman's natural beauty. The salon is well-located with free parking. I highly recommend it! Nancy

This place is pretty, but the owner still has a lot to learn. I called early on a Friday morning to book an appointment, thought is was strange when the man who answered the phone told me he would call me back. A couple hours went by and he told me he was booked and he could schedule me for Monday. I arrived on Monday 5 min before my appointment...there was only 1 stylist there, she tells me that she is going to do my hair her name was Sakeena. When I booked the appointment it was supposed to be with Atwood. I was told Atwood called out sick. Ok fine, mind u, I drove 40 min to this appointment, no phone call to me at all. I left, Sakeena was gonna attempt to do my hair but she finally admitted that color was not her specialty so i respected her honesty and left.(she did offer to drive me home, i thought that was sweet of her). I booked another appointment and on the morning of i called the salon repeatedly to make sure that Atwood was gonna be there. No one answered the phone for 2hours. Now it 12:30 (my appt time) and I get a call from the owner telling me the phone was on silent. WHATEVER!! so again didnt get my hair done at Salon Lewis. I enjoy getting my hair done regularly and don't mind spending money. I really wanted to make salon lewis my new weekly spot (my stylist moved this month)but service and knowledge are super important to me and the folks over at Salon Lewis failed to provide that. Anyia Anise on North Highland she corrected my color and did a fabulous job!

I will NEVER recommend this business or its owner, Judson Lewis. My stylist was Sakeena Koroma. She was unprofessional the entire time, refusing to face me toward the mirror and repeatedly asking 'What did you want done again?' She brushed directly over my ears and my face. On top of this, I've never seen anyone cut hair like she does (and that is NOT a compliment). She didn't section the hair off and cut layers. Instead, she slid her scissors down the length of my hair, causing all sorts of lengths (aka wispy strands) to be produced. THIS IS NOT LAYERING! She left my hair half wet when she was done. When I went to pay, the owner told me their credit card machine was down (there was no credit card machine). He took out his personal iPhone and told me I could swipe my credit card on it... SKETCHY! When I got home, I realized the left side of my hair was 1.5" longer than the right side of my hair. Just WOW. I had to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed and now it's a lot shorter than I wanted because they had to fix Sakeena's mistakes. I looked Sakeena up on the Secretary of State website to find her license information, but had no luck. I called the owner, and he refused to give me her license number. After doing some digging, I found out her original name was Sakeena Buggs, which is on the State website, however her license expired in March 2010. I got my hair cut Jan 2011. DO NOT GO HERE. It is EXTREMELY unprofessional and a HUGE rip off.

Would like to review the quality but sadly I didn't get that far. I booked an appointment online well in advance, only to get to the salon and my stylist be MIA. There was no phone call or no explanation for her absence (I wasn't late, either). The space was nice, and while I'd like to say I'll give them another shot I probably won't. Emergencies happen but a phone call or at least letting another stylist know would be nice. A front desk receptionist might make this possible.

I originally booked an appointment with Atwood, but as soon as I got to the salon, I was switched to Sakeena. And that's when my troubles began... I asked her to cut off half an inch, and she cut 1 and a half inches. She wasn't able to make a straight part in my hair so I embarrassingly had to do it myself. The front of my cut looked ok, but oddly enough, I was never shown the back of my hair. When I went to pay, the cut was $10 more than what I was quoted on the phone and oops, "our credit card machine is broken, and you'll need to go across the street to the ATM to get cash" (I paid what I was quoted). Went home to see the back of my hair - OHH NOOOOO! Not only was too much taken off, but there was a chunk of my hair that was one length, another section that was shorter, then another longer in length - WHAT A MESS!! It's quite possible a seven year old could cut hair in a straighter line. I was about to reschedule with Atwood to fix what Sakeena had done to my hair, but with no faith in the salon, I drove back over and ended the entire experience with my money back. I highly recommend you skip this horrible hair experience, and take your time and money to a salon where they have professional stylists.

Atwood work was excellent I will return, I know I found my salon. The customer service is AMAZING at Salon Lewis. MeganAl stop lying I was there and the owner was very professional and never bragged, I believe you need to check yourself, get educated. Your attention span is your problem join a gym, burn off some steam, last stop cursing with your abbreviations it's not lady like or Christian. Kudzu you shouldn't of posted her information with those cursing abbreviations. I would of never written this if I didn't hear the owner talk to you that day and I do remember you while I was at the salon, you were a problem when you walked into the salon, check yourself sister.

I just got back from Salon Lewis and am so pleased with my experience there. The place was classy but laid back and my stylist, Sakenna, was a true artist. Definitely check this place out and be sure to ask for her!
