Ok.. I've never ever written a negative review anywhere! I purchased a certificate on locally for a 1 hour facial..when I called to make an appt w/the asthetician she said I could upgrade for$25 to a facial peel or microderm.. i did that. however, she did that vs the facial! sooo it was not a pleasant experience.. if you buy this certificate do not do not upgrade.. the entire amount 50 was worth like 15! yikes! no thanks!

I wish there was an option to give negative reviews, coz this place really deserves it!! I cannot believe they are still trying to sell their coupons online. The reason I even bought mine when I did was that there were just a few reviews at the time, an equal number favoring, and an the same number saying they were terrible. I gave them the benefit of doubt and bought the coupon considering they had some nice pictures on the deal site as well as Olivia Todds own website. Myself and a friend went recently to the Smyrna branch, and OH MY GOD, I was HORRIFIED with what I saw. The place looked AWFULLLL!! More over, I went there to relax, and instead was directed to a nail station where I had to sit hunchbacked while I got my nails done, if that is what you can call it. There was no soaking my hands which is what you need to get down for a manicure .... all she did was file my nails down (I dunno why she couldn't cut it first and then file them), and then she shoddily removed some of my cuticles, then proceeded to put some suspicious looking cream on my hands.... no massage, and then painted my nails... BADLY. ANY idiot knows that you can't just put one thick coat.... you have to put a thin coat, let it dry and then put another coat. She just slapped on a thick coat so it didn't dry and I had it all podgy till it got all ruined. I HATED IT!! DONT GO THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY!!

I bought a coupon from Loclly for a Mani-Pedi w/Mimosas. There were lots of inconveniences with this. They wanted you to fill out a form online and have them call you back for an appointment. The Saturdays were all booked up so I had to go at a bad time during the week. I still figured I'd give it a chance because a trip to the salon is always fun. This turned out to be AWFUL. The manicurist poked at my cuticles with a sharp cuticle pusher and caused 6 different wounds on my fingers that were not there before. The cuticles are now inflamed and have sores and my fingers are still hurting, making it hard to use my hands today. The parts that are not wounded looked better before I came in. I asked her to buff my nails, and she rubbed so hard I was burned from friction, but no shine. You can still see all the scratches from the rougher sanding block used. If she paid as much attention to my nails as her cell, I might've been okay. For the pedicure, my cuticles got the same rough treatment, but thankfully, no wounds, just discomfort. She insisted on putting on my flip-flops before painting my nails, even after I mentioned that I did not want nail polish on my shoes. I now have nail polish on my shoes. She didn't want to use toe separators until I asked and she acted like it was a huge hassle then. The polish job was sloppy and bubbled where she globbed on the polish. She forgot to use top coat on a nail because she was in such a rush. I wasn't even offered a mimosa.
