This is one of the cheapest Div 1 schools out there. They only have one set price for however many units you take over six. The bad thing is that they charge you tuition like two months before the semester actually starts and all classes get filled up quickly and people have to crash some classes just to get in.

the media was exaggerating the event that occurred in the past months. you'll probably find more in the ivy leagues than here at state. they're just able to afford covering it up from the media. State does have its good qualities as well. no one takes the time to realize it.

This is one of the top school in Southern California. The campus is wonderful with a mission feel to the environment. Students are eager and diversity is common on campus.

San Diego State University is the best University in San Diego when it comes to having the whole "college" experience. This is what you imagine when you think of San Diego...world class professors, a diverse student body, a beautiful campus; and you get what is arguable the best weather in the U.S. with it as well. SDSU is well known for its party scene but is gradually becoming more respected for its academic programs due to its ever increasing entrance requirements. The Graduate School of Business and International Business programs are among the nations most highly rated.

Sure, the school is about partying at night, but what you don't hear is about the world class business program. The social sciences are great, and the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else. As far as college social spots, ask the kids from USD and UCSD where they go on weekends. You will hear SDSU mentioned from nearly every one of them.
