I received a referral to Seagraves after my living room flooded from a plumbing issue in my upstairs bathroom. Matt came out and assumed that the issue was a toilet overflowing since there was still water coming upstairs despite the fact that the water pressure to bathroom sink and tub was low. He flushed the toilet as his only diagnostic and told me it was fine to resume use of the restroom and gave me write up for my insurance company. The next day I showered in the upstairs bathroom and again water came through the ceiling into the living room. I understand that everyone makes errors but the error is not why I'm writing the review. I called the office again to report the new events and to request to have someone come out again and perform a proper diagnostic. After all, my living room ceiling was already opened up from the dry out and access to the pipes may not have been so difficult. I am actually unsure why Matt failed to actually look around in the first place. After 2 weeks of receiving excuses from the office about why I was not receiving call backs, today, I finally got in contact with the manager who told me that Matt is a "master plumber" and he did what he was "paid to do" and that they would not come back out . I requested a refund of my money and I am now looking for another company to perform the work. What a shame!

Although we have used Seagraves for over twenty years we will not be using them in the future. I hired them to do septic tank servicing and we have two septic tanks. The workers who came had no trouble with servicing the first one, but they could not find the second one and told me to have the owner come back with his camera to find it. They never mentioned how costly this would be. It turns out that after paying two hundred dollars for the second visit by the owner that the tank was EXACTLY where I had told the first workers it was located. The owner said I should be grateful that he only charged me $200 because he normally would have charged $350. He totally missed the point. There was no need for a second visit if the first workers had just LOOKED where I pointed out the second tank to be located. Then the first workers had the audacity to ask me for a tip for their trouble "trying" to locate the "elusive" tank, and I was stupid enough to give them a tip. Very dissatisified.

They gave me the hourly quote over the phone for small water leak in home piping. Price was acceptable and I knew it would take less than an hour. They came out next day, completed job in about 30 minutes and price was very reasonable. He crimped 3 pieces on a T-joint in the copper piping that was leaking. However, my mistake was not asking about warranty ahead of time. After the job was done he told me the work is warranted for 30 days. Most others have a year warranty for the same thing.

I would recommend the work of Seagraves as they recently repaired a VERY OLD water line that had been damaged by a tree root. They were able to fix the line and restore service within a few hours.

Seagarves came to my house to fix a main sewer line problems that another plumbing company SunDial Plumbing could not seem to get fixed properly. SunDial had quoted me over $5000.00 to do exactly what Segraves did much better for only $2000.00.

I had the "dreaded" leaking rusty water heater in my crawl space and no hot water. I called Seagraves, told the receptionist what I had and she said "well...darling it might be time for a new one!"... She said that they could definitely get it done today!! A water heater was delivered by 10am, the plumber and helper at 2pm (confirmed with a phone call) one hour later it was completed and cost me significantly less than a neighbor paid. I highly recommend them!!

I had 3 problems all in the same bathroom: 1) leaking hot water, 2) clogged drain and 3) broken toilet (would not fill the tank). Seagraves sent a guy named Brandon who fixed everything in about 30 minutes, had all the parts in his truck and replaced every moving part in the tank of my toilet for $135. In the world of plumbing repair, that is a deal! He left no mess whatsoever. I highly recommend Seagraves.

We've always been happy with their work. The service technician came out to remove our old water heater. I asked him about claiming the new rebate for energy efficient water heaters. He said that shouldn't be a problem. The next day they installed a water heater that was not energy star. My husband says we should have been more clear in our request but isn't this an issue they should ask their customers about?

Excellent work by folks who seem to care how the repairs are done. We now trust their judgement on what needs to be done, and we'll recommend them to all of our friends.

I've used them for years for septic work, and called them for a clogged waste line recently. They had cleared it for me 8 years ago, so I figured they'd know my system best. Michael and his assistant were quick to diagnose and clear it, and charged me a price in line with what I paid 8 years ago. Pleased with the price, I had them replace 2 faucets and they did an awesome job at a very fair price. I was anticipating them being expensive, but their prices are very competitive, and the knowledge of their techs unmatched. Brandon and Jason were respectful, courteous, and cleaned up everything after the faucet install. Price was again in line with what I'd paid 8 years ago to a moonlighting plumber. Thanks, Seagraves!

I had an emergency with my water heater leaking (actually, flooding the basement!) and Seagraves was on site within a couple of hours. They evaluated my needs, made recommendations, and had a new gas water heater installed that same evening. They even hauled away the old unit at no extra charge.

Plumber was honest about problem (which was minor) and was willing to look at other small issues throughout the house to fill the minimum hour charge. He showed high intergrity and explained every issue before he fixed.

After using two other plumbing establishments and several attempts to stop a running toilet. Seagraves fixed it in one visit. They are quick and courteous. Prompt response to service requests.
