This place looks good at first sight; lovely courtyard, spacious apartments, friendly neighbors, parking, pool. If you look close, the reality is not so pretty. Moss, mold, pot holes, poor ventilation, horrible, not even close to being energy efficient windows, doors & appliances, nosey, loud neighbors and if you don't smoke, well, your home will smell like you do from the drafts throughout the courtyard & the pool has been closed for months and months. Not to mention ants, shrews & occasionally mice. They could care less. It's a joke.

Now we can appreciate the fact that the apartments were built in the 1960's however that does not mean we appreciate living in a poorly insulated unit. Single paned windows encourage sweaty windows no matter the temperature attempted to be maintained inside. Mold that needs to be bleached every month or so follows with every fall, winter, and early spring. Heating in the ceiling + single paned windows = spendy electric bill. Water pipes run along the ceiling as well and are not insulated so when temps drop there is a high risk of frozen pipes when you live on the end and (especially) the top unit of the building. With the age of the units comes the outdated smoking policy i.e. it does not exist. Tenants can smoke inside which can mean if they live on the bottom and you above, your apartment too will smell like an old bar. Lack of insulation does not aid prohibiting smoke from a neighbor's apartment permeating your apartment. The management company should update their smoking policy to nonsmoking units and finish the remodel work with some new windows. If you are an indoor smoker who has money to spend on your electricity and doesn't care about mold that you can never seem to clean away, Sharitta villa is for you. If you care about your health and the money in your pocket find somewhere else to live..
