My husband bought me a nutrimill at Shar's Kitchen for Christmas. My mom also bought me a mill for Christmas as well. So, after comparing the mills I decided to return the nutrimill for a refund. Luckily my husband kept the receipt and we had all the original packaging. Upon bringing it back I was shocked to discover that there are NO REFUNDS at Shar's. Are you kidding me? Name one other store that does not refund your money when you return an un-used item in perfect condition with the receipt, in the original box, with all the original packaging, within a week of the purchase. I like to support local businesses, even if it means you spend a couple bucks more, but this will be my last purchase from Shar's Kitchen. By the way, I even let her know I would be writing a review about my experience but she went on about how her return policy has been in place for 34 years.... Well, maybe it is time to revise it. Very disappointing.

Beware that Shar's does not accept returns -- exchanges only within 10 days. This policy is not posted; it is printed on the receipt you receive AFTER you make your purchase. Don't worry, though, Shar will be quick to use her finger to tap-tap-tap that line on the receipt if you want to make a return. Shar was very snotty and condescending when I tried to return a faulty item. She told me that it was a best seller and implied that I must be too ignorant to know how to use the very simple gadget. I am a culinary school graduate with more than twenty years of restaurant experience. Shar is entitled to have whatever return policy she wants, but this policy should be clearly and widely posted in the store. Perhaps this situation will encourage her to be more proactive in alerting her customers of this policy. I wanted to be able to support a local business, even though the prices are higher, but now I will shop anywhere but here. I will encourage my friends to shop elsewhere as well.
