If I could give no stars I would. The staff is lazy and completely incompetent. It's a battle to get even the simplest things done. Like refill a simple prescription. It's taken me over 3 weeks to get a simple prescription filled. Nothing but excuses from her staff. Weeks to get tests results if you get them at all. When you do get them one of her incompetent nurses reads the results back. No way you can get any questions answered. The worst thing was I had a tumor and no one called or told me in anyway. I went months with out knowing until my next scheduled Visit. Can't believe this practice is still in business!

I was a "patient" of Dr. Rangnekar's for about 4 months after developing thyroid issues during pregnancy. In that time, I saw her once after be made to feel like a burden by the scheduling desk. I could write for days about how horrible this doctor and her practice are - they really should take her medical license away. Here's what you need to know: 1) I waited 3 hours to see her. She was in the room for 4 minutes - explained nothing, wrote off my concerns and paid more attention to her computer 2) her lab technician was rude and butchered my arm. 3) she ignored my concerns about developing symptoms she told me to tell her about - just ordered blood work every 2-3 weeks for months 4) diagnosed and treated me for hypothyroidism while my blood levels were still in the normal range! The 'small' dosage of medication she put me on was so high that I am having to wheen off of it! 5) Her scheduling desk actually called me back after canceling an appointment to reprimand me because I had an unsafe condition for my baby, and she wanted to know what I was doing canceling my appointment. 5) and finally, she ordered the WRONG blood work the entire time I was her 'patient' which a good endo should have known! I have a wonderful endo now, but I cannot caution you enough to stay away from this doctor! I am still mortified over the treatment I received!

left empty handed. She was late coming into the exam room about a hour late and had a nasty attitude. She implied that I was a liar and wanted to argue with ma on every concern I had and made light of my abnormal thyroid results and low vitamin D levels. Will not ever go back to her as she was a complete waste of my hefty co-pay money and my valuable time! What a nasty doctor!

Although Dr. Rangnekar always treated me kindly, she is more geared towards the treatment of diabetes, not thyroid conditions. I have no thyroid and begged for dessicated thyroid but she refused and kept me on Levoxyl, instead, which did not alleviate all my symptoms, i.e., brain fog, ongoing fatigue, cracking dry skin, depression, and achy joints. My body was not converting this T4 med to T3 adequately but she ignored me when I mentioned this as a possibility. She kept reducing my meds, trying to keep my TSH perfect, until my hypo symptoms worsened and I switched doctors. The only labs she's interested in is the TSH - when the FT3 & FT4 are so vital. When I would mention feeling depressed, she'd suggest I see someone else for that, instead of considering it might be part of the hypo thing. Trust me, if you have severe hypo symptoms, read Stop the Thyroid Madness by Janie Bowthorpe...then find a good functional medicine doctor who factors in your symptoms as well as labs. Dr. Rangnekar needs to learn when to address adrenal fatigue, too. Thyroid meds won't work as well when your adrenals are shot. I learned all this the hard way.

I was referred to Dr. Rangnekar by my P.C.P. I was assisting her with the investigation of my medical concern, by announcing suspected symptoms. Dr. Rangnekar insisted in telling me that I had low self image! What a blow coming from a figure that is suppose to be so educated in body typing! She is not a very nice lady, as far as I'm concerned.

I was referred to Dr. Rangnekar several months ago for diagnosis of the cause of long term chronic symptoms that several doctors from almost every specialty had been unable to pin down, or had given up on - leaving me discouraged, confused, and no better physically than when I began seeking a solution almost five years ago. Dr Rangnekar has been thorough, diligent, encouraging, and determined in her quest to get to the bottom of my pain & fatigue. She's the only doctor I've seen for this set of symptoms that has attacked the problem in an organized and systematic way to narrow down the possible causes and rule out unrelated factors. I feel that I'm finally making real progress toward a diagnosis & solution - thanks to Dr Rangnekar's medical detective skills and commitment to my care. She began treating my wife for diabetes (insulin dependent) several years ago and now my wife is healthy, diabetes free, and no longer requires insulin! Thank you, Dr Rangnekar!

An example of exactly what you can expect from India. Cheap. Arrogant. Supercilious. Uneducated. Unconcerned. An absolute boil on the face of medical care. And Mary, the assistant? If it gets much worse, I don't wanna imagine it. Not worth the hassle - I'd rather amputate a foot than return.
