I walked in at about 5 til close and the doors were already locked. The store closer opened them and told me they were closing. i let him know that it was 5 til and I knew exactly what I wanted. I went in and as I was stocking up they turned off the lights on me. i brought my bottles to the counter and payed for my $200 plus purchase and let him know that once I returned the shell from a Terrapin keg i had in my bar at home, that i would no longer be doing business there. BTW this was not the first run in with this particular associate and I spoke with a manager right in front of him when returning the shell. She mentioned that it was not his first complaint. They might want to do something about it! I will be going to Total Wine and Beverage from now on (although their keg selection is less than adequate)

My usual Friday night stop and to my dismay the people there were exceedingly rude. I had bought probably $150 worth of scotch, and the girl at the register was very rude, I am a greying man and obviously way over 21, she started to ask me for my ID, I told her that it would be a minute for me to get it out, she then proceeded to ring the person up behind me as if I was not there, when I finally got it ready 30 seconds later she seemed annoyed to ring me up, I usually stop here to get my scotch but now I travel down the road little bit further and actually save $18 so, if you want to get harrassed go here, I am obviously way over 21 and was talked down to like I was trying to steal somthing, I will not tolerate it and will tell everyone I know not to shop there. You guys probably have lost quite a bit of business to this remarkably rude person behind the counter, will check back in a few months to see if she is gone and the employees you have, have alittle more common sence, if not the people down the road will suit my purposes better and I can drive 10 more minutes to save $18, get your act together.. you are losing customers and from what I have read I am not the first person that had this experience of crappy customer service.

I am a wine person. I walked in this store this evening and was greeted by a pleasant young man. He was helpful in assisting me with finding a particular wine that they usually carry. When I went to the register to make my purchase, my checkout girl, Danielle, was incredibly rude. She took my license after saying "ID". My license had a crack in it, and she gave me a very hard time about my ID. She told me she needed "legitimate" ID, and that mine was no longer valid because it had been altered. She called all of her co-workers over to view and approve my ID. All of them seemed to think it was ok, and I was even questioned by a manager about it. He thought it was ok too. She insisted on seeing my boyfriends id as well. He stated that he was not making a purchase and she said she needed it because he was in the store. She then said "You act as if I'm giving you a hard time, I'm just doing MY JOB" Well, if her job is customer service, she should be terminated immediately. I can understand questioning an ID, but when it is validated by every other member of staff, there is no need to harrass paying customers further. Also, she failed to check my id or signature with that of my credit card. I will not be returning - ever. This was my worst experience of '07 by far.
