As a new puppy owner and new to the San Diego area i was recommended to this vet by my sisters friend. First of all i would like to say that this vet is extremely over priced. My first experience there was good, the staff was friendly and the vet was very friendly as well. However at the end of my visit when i had to pay, i notice that the nickel and dime you for everything and they do not really explain what for. Two days ago i got my puppy neutered. i called a few days before to see how much it would be to get him caught up on his shots and to be neutered as well. they quoted me $230. i thought that was pretty good considering he needed two shots as well. So i drop my dog off and they make you initial here and there accepting the fact that your dog is going to be neutered and go into surgery. however they neglected to tell me that half of the things i needed to inital by were not mandatory and that I had the option of choosing what my dog would need. Instead of taking the time to go through each and tell me what each one was for, My roomate ended up going to pick my dog up and the bill was $435. I mean a TWO HUNDRED dollar difference is ridiculous. They just find every way to nickel and dime you and they charged my with ridiculous things, gave me things i didnt want or need, and it was straight up a rip off. I would never ever go there again. THEY ARE THEEE WORST VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO.

I came in with my 6 year old Boston Terrior for a second opinion. The doctor had the same diagnosis as my old vet, she was very nice and didn't act annoyned that my dog is really out of control. In fact my dog even peed in her lap and she didn't get upset. ALl the nurses even like my Barney. I am having my records transfered today. They me and Barney feel special.

The hospital was the cleanest I have ever been to.The receptionist on the phone sounded progessional and I was greeted with a smile. The doctor spent a good 40 min with me on a free exam! No one pressured me only recommended things. My puppy loved the doctor and I feel confortable with his castration next week.

I took my pets there years ago since the location was convenient. The prices seemed high, the service lacking though the office is clean. I want my pets to feel as welcome somewhere as I do and this wasn't it.

My dog was recently hit by a rattlesnake. I called this vet and told them what happened and that I wanted to bring the dog in for treatment. They told me to come right away. I arrived there about 9 minutes later and was told that the vet had left for the day. They gave me a map to another vet hospital. They said they couldn't do anything without the vet there. It took about 25 minutes to get to the hospital and the dog died the next day - If the staff doesn't know where or when the vet is in and every minute counts, there is a real problem for emergency situations. This is a very poorly run business.
