I took my children to Snodgrass-King after moving to Franklin. My younger child was routine, and we had no issues. When I returned with my older child who needed teeth extracted and a device, we realized that this was not the practice it seemed at first. Dr. Snodgrass scared my daughter (age 10) by explaining in technical terms how her teeth would be extracted in front of her. When we returned, we were greeted with an even worse experience. First, I was asked to pay an extra $130 for sedation. My child was left so long that the sedation wore off, resulting in a lot of pain during the procedure. I was not allowed in the back, so I had no idea until the procedure was complete. Since Dr. Snodgrass was her doctor, I assumed he would perform the extraction. Only after the procedure was over did I find out that a "junior" dentist performed the procedure, and it was done very poorly. When I complained, the front office said that unless I specify on file that ONLY Dr. Snodgrass or King can do procedures, they often assign them to other dentists. I called Dr. Snodgrass multiple times to complain, but he never returned my calls. I was told he was "busy" helping underprivileged children. I subsequently had to return to have poor workmanship on the device corrected and saw Dr. King, who was kind. However, this practice is not straightforward in its practices.
