    A great little gym for everyone to try

    I've got to echo the other reviewer - the crossfit based workouts are tough but excellent. They really work to make you stronger and you will absolutely lose weight if you come here regularly. The best part of the gym are the other clients - folks ranging from teenagers to grandmothers all trying to improve their level of fitness and health. I can't recommend this experience enough. I've been going for 5 months and I've lost over 15 lbs according to the scale. What that number doesn't tell you is how much body fat I've lost and how much lean muscle I've put on. I've gone down 2 pants sizes and I'm about to have to shopping for new clothes yet again! I've gotten comments from literally everyone as to how much better I look and I feel excellent.

    Hard Exercise that Works

    I originally tried Sonz because I had hit a stubborn plateau trying to lose weight. I wanted to hire a trainer but I could not afford to pay someone $60 or more an hour. Sonz offered small group sessions with personal attention for a fraction of the cost so I gave it a try. Its a hard workout, but the coaches are really helpful and encouraging. The exercises are based on crossfit, and are a combination of strength training and cardio. They are tough workouts, but in an unusual way, somewhat addictive. I always look forward to their workouts with equal parts of enthusiasm and apprehension : ) After a few weeks of training I blew through my plateau and am now losing weight faster than I have in the past. Their motto "Really hard exercise...And it works!" is accurate on both counts. I highly recommend this place for the excellent workouts, great staff, and friendly environment.
