Souplantation of Point Loma...good selection although not very consistent (sometimes good sometimes food sits out too long, or they make some of the soups and selections very bland and unappealing) but a lot of healthier options as well as not so healthy options. Despite hike in price, still a good value. Plenty of seating here, ample parking, easy to get in and out. The staff just seem to exist in a kind way and are not very helpful in knowing when fresh selections are coming out. All different kinds of people eat here so people watching is definitely mixed and diverse. As far as food goes, another Souplantation somewhere else might be a better choice, but as far as convenience and ample space this is the location. Others are just way too busy an overcrowded to truly enjoy the food. Especially important aspect for a buffet is to not weed through hoards of people in line at the salad bar.

I had lunch here today. There are more "other" foods like soup, bread, baked potato, pastas than there are salads - perhaps because these items are cheaper than fresh produce.

Soup Plantation has plenty of food at a resonable buffet price. Pros: Decent variety. Great salad bar. Decent prices. Cons:Quality of the food is low.

There are many buffets out there, but Souplantation's niche is fresh salads, soups, breads and pasta. They always have discounts, usually in the paper, or if you have AAA. This location has been around since I moved to San Diego 15 years ago. The house special Chinese wonton chicken salad is worth the price of admission alone.

This place has good soups. I had a variety of things to put on my salads. Oh and did I mention it is all you can eat! Oh you pay extra for your sodas

Souplantation's soups are good, their muffins are good, their salads are good. But the way they handle their customers could be better. The good thing is the prices are low.

Buffet style serving allows you to get what you want and all the food is good. Nothing is too tasteful, but for a hungry person this is the place. Moderately priced for the amount of food you can get. Overall nothing special.

I have been going to this Souplantation for a few years now and have been really impressed with the changes they have made to the store and menu. However, I am saddened at the level of service they seem to be striving for. On more then one occasion I have asked for a side of marinara sauce with out cheese and feel as though I need an act of congress to intervene. I don't understand why this is such a feat. All you have to do is scoop the sauce from the container into a bowl that I am providing.
