I have been to other spa sydells and had a great time. This place I didn't enjoy. The food was not as good. They kept putting lemons in my watter with I am allergic to and told them serval times. The nail person didn't do a good job. The people at the front tried to sell me stuff, that they had to order it, and it still hasn't arrived 3 months later. what kind of business does that.

While I cannot speak about other locations, the Forum spa in Norcross adds it's own "pressure"... always pedaling "packages" and other products. Be forewarned - a purchased package is non-refundable and gift cards expire. To add insult to injury, accounting records for your visits are less than stellar. It is recommended that you track services closely, and most importantly - monitor your credit card for charges. A spa experience should be relaxing and enjoyable; these people are more interested in the sell than the service. Go elsewhere...

I was in recently for a massage and facial. The actual massage and facial were great, but the people kept trying to sell me more services or products any chance they could. I go to a spa to relax. It's not relaxing to have someone pressuring you to buy more, more, more.

I have used Spa Sydell at the Forum, off and on, for about 5 years now. I prefer the products and service at Natural Body, but I live closer to Spa Sydell. Every time I get finished with a relaxing massage or facial, the person who conducted my service walks me out and the entire way tries to sell me on a product that they say I need. I have probably had over a dozen services there and every single one ends with this sales pitch. It makes me very uncomfortable b/c I am not interested in buying their expensive products, but they continue to push it. I think I'll just go back to Natural Body even though it isn't the most convenient to my home. There i don't get the sales pressure.

Total ripoff. The massage not relaxing, the staff was rude, my physical pain was completely ignored by the therapist, and I was repeatedly solicited to buy their cheaply made, overpriced products . The female manager dressed like she worked on a street corner, and twice I saw her screaming at an employee for "not selling enough product." I'm not sure why they want their employees to sell cheaply made products at ridiculous prices, but maybe if the manager had any sort of people or managerial skills, people would consider buying something or even returning for that matter. It's no surprise that they are in bankruptcy with service and administrative employees like this.

The service is very touch and go with the Spa Sydell at the Forum. I have had a couple of really good massages there, but the last two experiences with them were not very good. My last massage was performed by a smoker who smelled like smoke, which was a nasty thing to smell while getting a massage. Just the other day, I had a face wax and made the horrible mistake of adding an eyebrow wax to the deal. Not only did I pay over $50 for the service, but she missed a bunch of hair on my face, and now 2/3 of my eyebrows are gone! She horrified them! I will never be getting a wax there again!

My husband gave me a $90 gift certificate along with the "$20 off any service of $90 or more" coupon for Valentine's Day. I visted the Forum spa for a Body Polish and Body Wrap ($150). When I came into the spa, I was offered a Fast Facial for 15% off by the lady at the desk. I said ok. At the time of checkout, I presented my gift card and coupon and was told that the coupon could not be combined with the gift card. I also said that I was not interested in the recommended products. The cashier called the manager to the desk and she agreed that they could not honor the coupon "because of the fine print." The fine print on the coupon clearly reads "Not redeemable with series. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value. Not redeemable for cash or gift certificate." No where on the coupon did it say that it could not be combined with the gift certificate. Not only were the manager and cashier rude and disrespectful, they clearly were not properly trained or informed. After all this, I noticed that my bill was still high. I questioned the amount and the cashier said that she had included the products that I had specifically stated that I didn't want. At this point I had spent 15 minutes arguing and said to just forget it and left. Tanya was wonderful and I would go back to her again for services, but as it stands now, I WILL NEVER walk back into a Spa Sydell.

I have been to many spas for massages and never have I come across such a rude, cold, (not to mention that her hands were very cold!!), and unprofessional person as I did with "Amy". Never go to see her!! She talked thru my massage, asked me if I had a problem with her being a smoker, was very hard on my muscles and just a plain poor massage therapist. I was crying when I left. I asked her to STOP my massage in the middle of it as she was so rude and gave me a very bad experience there. Just remember- don't choose Amy if you go there!!

I was looking forward to FINALLY using 3 old spa gift certificates that I had received as gifts for my upcoming 30th birthday, but was informed that I could not redeem them because they are over 2 years old. That's over $400 of my friends' and families' hard earned money that they flat out STOLE. I am a VERY busy person and unfortunately haven't had time to take off a whole day to spend at the spa until now. I looked forward to a nice relaxing day at the spa for my 30th, but now I have to inform my friends and family that all their generosity went to waste. Money is money... these gift certificates should not expire. I realize prices may have changed, but I was more than willing to pay the difference. I will certainly be telling all of my friends and family to never buy me another gift certificate from this corrupt company again, and I warn everyone to avoid this unprofessional business like the plague! They aren't even that great of a spa to begin with.

The forum location is set up really cool. The actual spa area and so relaxing. They do a great job with waxing and I had the best pedicure here. The pedicures were not cheap, but the girl did an amazing job. If it is not the holidays you can usually get a last minute appointment.

Though not the most intimate spa I've been to, it is still very relaxing and comfortable. Use of the steam room before/after any service is a great bonus! Prices are average for their services.

I had an excellent experience with the Spa Sydell location at the Peachtree Forum. Everyone was very curteous and attentive during my entir visit. I chose the 1/2 day with Sydell package and liked it so much I have made it a monthly ritual. From Dana who performed my massage to Kay who handled my manicure/pedicure, everyone treated my like a princess for a day. I would reccomend both of them to anyone looking to relax and find sanctuary in Atlanta.

Massage therapist, Velvet Williams, is awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed my swedish massage. It was totally relaxing. By inquiring about my problem areas, she really catered the massage to my needs.

They FINALLY opened a Spa Sydell over in the Forum shopping center in Norcross, which is pretty close to were I live!! I have been there three times and LOVE it!! For a mom of two toddlers (one year old girl and three year old boy) it is VERY nice to go get pampered. I have been to other spa's before that were slightly cheaper, but always end up back at Spa Sydell. The atomosphere is more relaxing and I feel more pampered, if that makes any since!?
