If he doesn't care for pregnant patients, why would he care for you? I had a root canal done by this inconsiderate danger to society in 2010 while I was pregnant with my first son. After numbing me, he did a few normal tests to see if I was numb. I wasn't so he injected me more and almost immediately he tried to proceed. I stopped him and he told me he could inject me once more and that should be more than enough. I told him I would tap his arm if I felt pain during the procedure. Immediately I felt pain and I tapped his arm and he didn't stop. I made mouth noises and he didn't stop. I moved to the point where he nicked 3 of my front teeth with the drill. He yelled at me not to move. With tears down my eyes I told him it really hurts. He paused for a minute and told me I would just have to deal with it that sometimes they hurt anyway. He finished the procedure, and while I'm in tears and horrible pain. He covered the drill marks on my 3 front teeth with filling that now has turned yellow in that spot. Of course I wasn't going to go back for the crown or pay him for anything. In fact I didn'tHe not only caused unnecessary damage to my very healthy front teeth stress to me, but also to my unborn son. When I called the office they apologized and offered to cover the remaining costs. I looke on my credit report and find a bill of $578 the fees they tacked on are ridiculous. Any attorneys that are interested may replay with your information. He needs to be stopped.

I have been Doc Ezunu patient for several years now and I am very happy I have him as my dentist! I've got some fillings, crown done couple years ago and do not have any problems. Just recently he pulled out my wisdom teeth with no pain! Appointment took less than an hour. Really good and experienced dentist!

The dentist recommended several treatments that I did not need and over charged me three to four times more than other dentists and wanted to back date my claims. His service was very poor for example the root canal came out less than one week and when I went back for him to fix it he wanted to charge again. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE......

As others have pointed out, Dr. Izunu will prescribe unnecessary procedures and charge (in my case) OVER 10 TIMES MORE than other dentists. We only ended up with him b/c of our insurance plan, but we're switching. P.S. We were kept waiting for an hour and the facilities were aging and dirty (including the dental instruments!)

I have been going to SDC for more than 4 years and find the practice to be very good. I have received very good service; the clinic has good hours and a great location. Dr. Ezuno is very knowledgeable and listens to his patients. Without hesitation, I would recommend SDC to my friends.

We would like to extend our most sincere APOLOGY to this patient. To the best of our knowledge, we have NEVER had an incident like this of a patient not responding 100% to the anesthesia. Usually, all patients are well anesthetized BEFORE any procedure begins. We can only speculate that there was a breakdown of communication between the patient and our dental assistant. If we know that the patient is in pain, we will immediately correct the problem BEFORE proceeding with the treatment. If this patient would PLEASE contact our office so we could discuss how this occurence happened and offer a PERSONAL APOLOGY. Spalding Dental Center Management.
Unfortunately I had to change dentists because I don't live as close to Spalding Dental Center as I used to. However my multiple experiences here were great (considering the circumstances). I had been going here for over 7 years and the Dr. has filled cavities, removed my 4 wisdom teeth, in addition to routine services with no issue. While many other places will try to up-sell you on things you don't need; this place ONLY does things that are absolutely necessary. The doctor is wonderful and does a very good job in making potentially very painful procedures as comfortable as possible. In fact even when he removed my widsom teeth; I didn't even need take the pain meds he prescribed afterwards. I love the staff as well and they are very polite. There was only one billing issue within those 7 years and it was resolved without me having to foot the bill. I hate not being able to come here anymore and if I hadn't moved, this still would be my regular dentist. In any case, Spalding Dental Center is HIGHLY recommended for anyone looking for a reputable dentist.

This dentist tried to tell me I needed 2 fillings and needed a "deep cleaning". Wanted to charge me an extra $200 over my insurance co-payment. I only went to them because they were in my dental insurance plan. I did not let them do the work and went to my old dentist. My old dentist reassured me that I did not have any problems at all with my teeth.
