DO NOT GO HERE. I used to come here about 10 years ago with my Civic and always had good service. This shop has changed hands and the mechanics and manager that used to be here have all left. Nov 2010 - I took my car in to have my brakes checked. TONY replaced my rear brake pads. 2 days later, there was a burning smell and noise from the rear side of the car and I was stranded with my 2 kids in the middle of nowhere. Pep Boys fixed it and said that the Speedy mechanic forgot to screw in the bolts while doing the brake job. Took 2 days to get the bolts (since this happened on a weeked). Had to miss one day of work and pay for the fix job. Went back to the shop and the owner JOHN ROZAR denied that this could happen. He finally agreed to pay the money back for the original service of $180 but would do so the following day. He never showed up as agreed to refund the money. Don't let this happen to you. THIS SHOP IS DISHONEST. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FIXED OR YOUR CAR CHECKED HERE.

I used to sweat by this place but would not recommend it to my worst enemy now. In March 2007 they replaced my clutch and was even kind enough to pay for a rental care for me during the process. They were great...then. Back in February 2008, went to have axl replaced on my car and was quoted $330. When I returned they were charging me $480 and said the less expensive part was unavailable so they got me the more expensive one instead. No phone call to ask me if that's what I wanted or not. They play games there too. Tried to speak to general manager on several occassions and then they pretended to put him on the phone but it was the same mechanic who barely spoke english. They made excuses when I complained and offered free oil change, but I was never going back there again. On top of that, axl was not done correctly. Final nail in coffin was my clutch, after 15 months broke as well (they did my previous one as well that lasted 6 years). New management, new staff...place has totally gone downhill. They use lousy replacement parts, do subpar work, bait and switch, and are everything you read about avoiding.
