If you really love your pets, they need to be taken to a vet that has 24 hour presence. My pet went into Spencer Springs & never came out. Suspiciously died in the middle of the night when no one was around. How do I feel? You can only imagine the self-guilt. That's all changed but unfortunately, too late. My other pets will never set paws in there.

Long story very short, they treat you like a personal ATM machine. They treat your pets worse. The terrarium in the lobby is filled with boa constrictors and other snakes. That's your first clue to leave immediately because other snakes work behind the counter and in the doctors' offices. If you complain they accuse you of lying. There's a lot of good vets in Vegas. Hicks and Spencer Springs has none of them. Don't confuse "Spencer Warm Springs vet" with the much better "Warm Springs vet". I wouldn't go to Hicks at Spencer W.S. if he was the last vet on the planet. He's proven himself to be a greedy, sell-out who covers that with being rude and insulting. He also lets his technicians treat customers the same way. Then they tell you, "Oh that other dog was an emergency and almost died!" Like they practice that lie every day as their typical excuse for their lousy service. Been there several times in the last 15 years and the service has gotten worse and worse. Time for Hicks to retire.

Spencer Springs may quite possibly be the best pet care available in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. Its a peace of mind to know they are open everyday and available for emergencies. They have several vets and terrific assistants. Dr. Jacobek and Blair are genuinely caring people. The staff seem to enjoy their work and the business is run efficiently. I am skeptical of both vets and doctors. Relatively speaking, I feel my pets receive better veterinary care at Spencer Springs than I can expect to get from an M.D. in human medical care. I have been using their services for some 15 years and they have carried me through from the beginning to the end of life stages. Thank you, Spencer Springs, for all that you do!

My cat was ill and the vet i was taking her to recommended a biopsy surgery that would cost $1300. Not having that kind of money I wanted to take her somewhere else for a 2nd opinion. I had no idea where to take her but I found many good reviews for Spencer Springs on this site. I took her to Spencer Springs and they recommended the same surgery but only for $700, HALF THE PRICE OF THE 1ST VET! She had her surgery and they wanted to keep her an extra day because she wasnt eating. When i did pick her up they didnt charge me for the extra day. My vet is DR Carey Adams and hes been great. She later got an u.r.i. so i took her in they only charged me for a vaccination and the medication they gave her. Despite having cancer, my cat is doing very well, a year in a half later, and I am very happy that i found this vet and that they were affordable and helpful.

I've taken my dogs and cats here for years. I don't have a preference as far as the doctors go...I've been happy with them all. The front office staff is very friendly and professional. Prices are fair and very reasonable. Highly recommended!!

Our dog was treated several times, the staff is very kind and compassionate. There are several good vets here, waiting time is reasonable. They are somewhat pricey but willing to work with you.

I have dogs and cats and my pets are always treated well. We had to rush my dog there after a serious injury on July 4 and they squeezed her into their busy schedule and performed the emergency care she needed.

I've dealt with many of the veterinarians on staff and every one of them has been superb! Whether they are a dog or cat lover, they treat all the animals & owners with kindness & respect.

I took my dog to Dr. Hicks for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Hicks determined that my dog did not need surgery as was suggested at Stephanie Animal Hospital. Also, I was not charged for a follow-up visit.

Everyone seems to know what they're doing. You are greeted upon arrival. Soon after signing-in, someone talks to you. Everyone is very courteous. The fees are reasonable. I look forward to seeing these people.

I highly recomend Spencer Springs. The staff is super friendly & helpful. The doctors are great too, everyone is very nice. There usually isn't a long wait either. I was very impressed with them.
