This place is my family's favorite - and mine too - for very good reasons! The food is excellent, the atmosphere always weloming and the service wonderful. They have upped the bar with their wine list the past few months, which I am very thankful for!, and there is nothing that I can think of that we don't like! The facepainters they have on family nights are sweet, the weekend music is great, and as much as my waist hates them, those garlic rolls are the BEST! I wanted to write a little something as I read the bad review below, but see that all that person's reviews are mean and scathing (no good reviews), so I will take her words with a grain of salt and so should you! The owner and his wife are super nice, always speaking to customers, and seem to be very on top of what goes on in the restaurant. And cute, the several times I've seen their kids, they've been folding boxes and wiping tables and such. Great to see a whole family working together! All in all, great family restaurant and mouth's drooling just thinking about it now!

Took the family out to St Angelos, sat outside as usual, but throughout the dinner had a group of kids who were more and more rude while their parents watched from the patio. They threw paper airplanes into diner's food, pelted the cars in the parking lot with plastic items ripped from the patio fence (not our car, we'd parked elsewhere). My kid was floored they were allowed to do this - so were we. Husband left early in disgust. Kid & I waited to box our pizza before leaving. TURNS OUT THEY ARE THE OWNER's CHILDREN! One child resented that I hadn't returned the paper airplane from IN OUR FOOD, he took it & brought it to his dad (owner) at which point the owner pointedly made him another one to re-throw. The manager apologized for them and gave a discount - the discount came to $3. Is that the price of respect for your customers? If they allow this disrespect, what else do they "allow" done to the customer or the food of the customer? I am rethinking our pizza habits - too many good places around to put up with paper airplanes and dented cars. BTW - if yours is the silver Volvo SUV, now you know where the marks came from.

The past two pizzas I ordered were delivered by a very nice man, but once I opened the box what a joke. On a large pizza there were 4 slices of mushroom and maybe 10 morsels of beef. What a JOKE! I called to talk to the manager this last time and was left on hold so I am telling them here. I have always loved this place, but they have really gone down hill. I paid $23 for some dough. There are too many pizza places around for that kind of nonsense.

The pizza is so delicious! The family tray style (square) is the best - so light and tasty. If you eat there it's cramped, but the pizza is worth it. They have combos (e.g. slice, salad & drink)which are good value. Enjoy!

Great pizza to go, by the slice, especially for lunch. Not much room and not very comfortable or enjoyable to eat there, but the pizza tastes awesome and is priced below average.

First off their "Chicago style" pizza is a huge insult to Chicago. It's no where near what a Chicago style pizza should be. Also, the customer service was horrible. We placed an order to go and they gave our pizza away to someone else. To add insult to injury they remade our pizza, but instead of tomato sauce they put BBQ sauce on it. Who ever claims this is great pizza is nuts! The crust had no flavor at all. Also, there's no way a large salad could feed more than one person. That's false advertising. If you want good pizza try New York Pizza Exchange. *Edited note* This is not from a previous visit.

Those wings are great! We did the party platter "thing" about a week ago for a summer party and everyone kept asking where the wings were from. The funny part is that most of the people that asked lived nearby St. Angelos and had no idea how good the wings were. Most agreed the pizza was very good but the wings were a suprise hit.
