I have had many problems with Nichole Schaffer's office. We have visited several times in person to sort out problems caused on their end, and the staff we encountered was not courteous or helpful. After six months and numerous requests, we still do not have our insurance cards. Due to an error in processing, the VIN number for one of our vehicles was reported to the DMV as not having insurance. When we corrected the problem with the office (who originally made the error), we were then charged over $100! Some months later, we were pulled over and informed by the officer that our registration had been suspended for not having insurance on it. We had to go to court and prove to them that yes, we did have insurance and we were erroneously reported. When I called Ms. Schaffer's office to switch to an agent closer to our new house, she argued with us and tried to keep our business for over ten minutes. When we listed other reasons for leaving, such as the problems we had, she attributed them to corporate and the US postal service. Our new State Farm insurance agent called regional to see if she could speed up the transfer for us. Immediately after getting off of the phone with regional, Nichole called and asked if we were filing a complaint about her. I hadn't planned on it, but I did, and our transfer is now in progress. I do not recommend Nichole Schaffer as your State Farm agent.
