Went to Dr. Lokai for over 15 years. They hired a new receptionist who was rude and unfriendly to me and my pet. Dr. took her side over mine...remind you this is after I paid $1300.00 for a cat this doctor has seen since her birth. Save your money find a better place that truly cares for YOU and YOUR FAMILY because they only care about their bottom line. Aside from Losing my precious feline, leaving Dr. Lokai was very difficult made even more so when he allowed the customer abuse to continue from this new receptionist. Go to Twin Maples..go to Bigger Road but don't go here!!!!!

Yes, it is more costly than your average vet, but I feel that my cats get the best care here. They do laser declaw and all the advanced and up to date technology surgeries. Their vets are highly qualified and I trust their judgement.

I have been going there for years and I cannot take them anymore. The Vets are knowledgable but their policies are so ridiculous and harmful to animals. They have no compassion for pets and their owners. Everything centers around "well that's against our policy" and around money. They are the highest price Vet around and the most difficult clinic I have ever dealt with. No more for me and my animals!!

The vet was very nice. The positives stop there. Took my dog in for an ear infection. Was told over the phone the appt would be $49.75 and the antibiotic would range from $20-$50. Charges were actually $150 (a 50% delta). Rude receptionist told me that I could have declined the "cleaning of the ear" and the "swab" they took out of her ear. Um, I'm sorry, but wouldn't that be part of a routine ear infection exam? The vet never told me these were optional services. Rude receptionist (who doesn't smile, btw) felt compelled to argue with me and explain it was my fault for not knowing these were optional services and not telling the vet not to perform them. There are a lot of good vets in town whose staff won't give you attitude and charge 50% more than they tell you. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

My puppy got a toy caught on her lip. It took all of 30 seconds to remove. I was afraid to do it myself. My bill was $65! The Dr did come in and ask if we had question or anything. I guess that was nice.

Like the office, staff and especially Dr. Garcee (spell???). He is a dog whisperer. The patience and love he has for the dogs can not be duplicated. The staff is professional.

We have taken our dog here for several years. The staff is very friendly and compasionate. Dr Guarasci is wonderful, he has taken the time to call us personally when our dog had some problems.
