We tried this place yesterday because a wedding photographer said they had the best wedding cake. As the girl behind the counter said all of their cupcakes are made from the wedding cake batter, we tried the Pound Cake, the Lemon and German Chocolate. They were not fresh at all, very dry and the pound cake was hard as a brick. I was really hoping they would be good, but based on these I wouldn't even schedule a tasting.

I got my son's first birthday cake here. I wanted something different than the standard grocery cake. The cake was delicious and it was so beautiful! (Even his own special little one which he LOVED). Everyone raved over the cake. The staff were so kind and even gave us several free cupcakes when placing our cake order! (much appreciated). We will be back!

I ordered a cake from Sugar Kneads (the very 1st time I had ever ordered from a bakery). It was for my daughter's 9th birthday. The girl who took my order seemed to be new because she kept asking questions to the person in charge. I specified chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing with white swirls. The girl even repeated the order back to me. When my husband went to pick the cake up nearly a week later the day of my daughter's birthday party, it was white buttercream with white swirls. It looked like a wedding cake! When my husband informed them of their mistake, they claimed it was not their mistake, argued with him about it, and said if they added anything to what was already done, it would be an extra charge and he would have to wait a while. I was so disappointed with their lack of professionalism and accountability. To top it off, the icing was hard and didn't taste fresh at all. Don't waste your money at this place. Rude, unprofessional, and poor quality! When your special day is ruined because of them, you will completely regret it!

What a fabulous cakery! This small business is reasonable, professional, and the cake tastes as good as it looks. They asked the couple what their hobbies were and created cakes that tastefully played off that theme. Great find!

We have been using Sugar Kneads for years, the staff, products everything is awesome. I have not idea what this lady is talking about but normally when you bake a real cake the edges get darker than the center!!!! Grocery store cakes arent brown because they come out of a box LOL Both my sister and cousin have used Sugar Kneads for their Wedding Cakes and even the staff at the Venue said they have the best cakes. So sorry this lady is soo upset but i guess there is a bad apple in every bunch.

I have bought cakes here before and was very happy. So I sent my sister there because I didn't have time to make her daughters wedding cake. The cake was pretty but when it was cut it was full of frosting to fill in uneven areas on the cake, you could tell that it was over cooked. You shouldn't see and brown on a cake. There are things that you soak in water and wrap around it. That wasn't done. I felt so bad for my sister. I told her to go talk to sugar kneads and I was sure they would be interested in how there cake looked when cut and how she felt. They just blew my sister off. They already got her money and assumed. that she wouldn't order another cake from them because she was so unhappy. Well the way she was treated I wouldn't either and I will let everyone I know the way she was treated. I won't even get into the grooms cake. I will say that it went into the trash. Very disapointed!

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from Sugar Kneads. They did an amazing job! Not only was it beautiful, but it was one of the best tasting cakes I've ever eaten! I would HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I had gone to Hawaii to get married and were having a party when we got back. We went to Sugar Kneads with only the instructions that we didn't want anything resembling a traditional wedding cake, preferably Hawaiian themed. Tara and Brad came up with the idea of a volcano cake that "smoked" (with the help of dry ice.) The cake came out incredible, both in looks and in taste. They are definitely our bakery of choice. I don't usually care for cake, but I loved this one.

I had my daughter's 4th birthday cake made here. I must admit I had never had a cake made at Sugar Kneads, this was my first experience. I am glad I did. The cake was awesome. Everyone at the party, adults and kids, raved about how great the cake was. The frosting had a very nice texture, sweet, buttery, but not too sweet. The cake was moist. I highly recommend them for any occassion. I will be using them again. And thanks Sugar Kneads for making my little princess' birthday special.

The staff at SugarKneads are the friendliest and most helpful around. I've had several cakes from the bakery and have never been let down. They are even doing my wedding cake! In fact, we served their cake at a wedding shower and the response from all the guests was "I can't wait till your wedding if the cake tastes like this!"

I ordered a birthday cake for my son from here and was a little skeptical because it looks more like a storefront than a bakery...they are definitely a best kept secret ;-) the cake was very moist, the icing and butter cream were delicious! I will use them from now on..AND there prices were very reasonable...my guests loved the cake..

This store is a nice alternative to the big chains like Michaels and JoAnn's. They have a great variety of candy and cookie molds and can order just about anything you want. They can also get those premade/decorated cookies so you can make your own cookie baskets. If you are looking to start your own little business making cookie/candy baskets/mugs, you need to visit this store.
