Haircuts were good, however, the website says kids haircuts for $16. When you get done, with the haircut, they inform you that for kids 10 and up, the rate is $25 - the same as for an adult. The website also says 20% off on your first visit. When I mentioned that this was our first visit, the lady at the desk exclaims in the most incredulous manner, "This is your first time?!" Then she says, I don't know if "they" are still doing that. I volunteer to show her the website, then she says OK, I'll do it. The receptionist behaved just like other reviews have mentioned for years, so I don't see how someone can act like that and get away with it unless they are the salon owner. I made sure that I put the tip for the stylists in each one of their hands because I didn't trust the lady at the front to give it to them.

Experience was so bad I cried at the salon. This was my first (and LAST) time there. I am not sure if it is the establishment or the stylist so take this review as you will. I gave the lady a picture and asked her to please not touch the length, I just wanted long layers since my hair was all one length. Now I have hair slightly below my collar bone. I asked her why all of my hair was gone, that I had told her to please not take anything off of the length multiple times and showed her a picture of the EXACT cut I wanted. She proceeded to say "I didn't take anything off of the length I just had to blend it up 8 inches" (1) It took me 3 years to grow my hair out to the length I wanted (2) Never in my life have I experienced a stylist deciding that instead of giving you the cut you ask for, they will cut off 8 inches because THEY think it looks good. She didn't ask she just cut off all my hair. (3) The hair cut as atrocious as it already is - is uneven and now I have to pay to go to a difference salon so they can fix this disaster (4) Not once did the stylist apologize she just proceeded to tell me that she blended it up 8 inches and that she didn't touch the length even though 8 inches and 3 years of growth was sitting on the floor Overall a horrible experience and I hope this review spares anyone the butcher job that was done to my hair and the complete disregard for customer services and professionalism. Disgusting excuse for an establishment.

I just walked into Sweeney Todd's in the Bedford Passage and had my hair washed, cut and blown dry. Since it was a Monday or Tuesday they had a special making the value even better! $16 with a $5 tip can't be beat! The woman did a great job! She did just what I asked for it is looks healthy and clean. I plan to go back for all my haircuts.
