Generally poor workmanship on restorations. Cerec Crowns were low and had rough surface finish. The crown on one of my molars broke twice and on the third replacement, he ground down the opposing healthy tooth for better fit. The third replacement crown on that tooth overhangs on the margins and a black line developed at the margin from poor fit. Another molar Cerec Crown didn't break but the x-ray shows poor fit at the margins with overhang. There are also black lines at the margin on this tooth. Another crown put on another molar was too low and the tooth next to it was hurting so he ground that healthy tooth down for adjustment. There was still pain at the next visit so he ground down the crown resulting in terrible jaw pain from it being extremely low. I went back and told him the crown was low and he wanted to do more grinding on healthy teeth to make it fit. At that point I walked out of the office. I went to another dentist and had the crown replaced at my own expense to correct the jaw pain and get a proper fit. Turned out the pain was coming from the tooth next to the crown that had a filling and a visible crack in it that Dr. M said should be left alone. Turns out getting that tooth filled with composite alleviated the pain. Of the 12 cleanings done here, I never once had the same hygienist and can say they were cleaned properly on only two occasions. This dentist shoots from the hip and gets out the grinder to make up for inaccuracies.

I had appointments today for two of my children. One was at 9:30am. the other at 10:30am. We didn't even get called back until 10:30. When asked what the holdup was, no explanation was given other than "We are a bit backed up". Unacceptable!

I was really impressed with Dr. Szikman. He uses a video camera and a large screen TV to show the patient what is wrong and then what it looks like after the dental work. The equipment is high-tech. The office made a permanent crown for my tooth while I waited. 100% pain-free. I highly recommend him.

I needed a tooth repair done over the weekend. Originally Richard Szikman told me he would be unable to come in, so I scheduled a new appt. He then called back and told me he would actually be able to, so I canceled my other appt. Richard was incredibly rude, to the point of saying "d*@# saturday appointments" while he was working on my teeth. He then was rude about me trying to pay with a debit/credit card because he didn't know how to use the machine. Over all he was rude and unprofessional and I will not be going back to Szikman Dental Group.

This practice offers state of the art technology. They offer CAD/CAM technology (computer-aided design and manufacturing technology), which is used for crowns to be in one step. The receptionist is very helpful over the phone. Dr. Richard has no bedside skills.

Everyone is friendly and very cordial. Service is a quick in and out...but don't expect the Dad or Son to really talk to you...which I like since I can't usually speak anyways. They do overcharge you until they get the money from the insurance...and don't expect a refund, they just take it out of the next time.

Dr. Michael Szikman has been my dentist for the last 15 years, and even though I have moved further away from his office I continue to go see him and his staff twice a year. The hygienests are pleasant and do their job well, and Dr. Szikman and his sons are always professional. If you are a new patient understand that you are paying for the highest quality service using the latest technological advances in dental medicine. At times the dentists will be very busy and can come across as rude, but rest assured they are not always, and have your best interests in mind.

Let me start by saying that Dr. "Stewart" Szikman was a great dentist while he was practicing at the Szikman Dental Group, and while he was my dentist. My only issue was that they made me feel like I had leprosy because of a few medical issues. Since having medical issues for the past 20 years, I understand that dentists and their staffs are put in harm's way by treating patients with medical issues. HOWEVER, I have NEVER been made to feel like I had some horrific disease. Talk about feeling unwelcome and feeling diseased! After a very long period had gone by and I did not hear from my dentist to come in for my six month check-up, I decided to call the office and schedule my appointment. So, the technician did her thing; I was waiting for Dr. "Stewart" to enter my exam room. A doctor finally came into my room, washed his hands and did NOT greet me. I turned around, started casual conversation, said "Hi, Doctor, Long time, no see." Dr. "Richard's" response to me: "I've never seen you before." I then realized that Dr. Stewart's brother, Dr. Richard, was then standing in front of me - and not my regular dentist. Instead of the Szikman Dental Group informing me of Dr. Stewart's departure - which would have been the professional approach - I switched dentists to a wonderful dentist that actually CARE about their patients' health. Good riddance, Szikman Dental Group! Michael

I went to dr. Szikman about a month ago. I was told that I needed to have a deep cleaning and other things. Me being the scary cat that I am decided to go and face my fears. I can honestly say that once my cleaning was done, I was completely over my fear of dentist. I am recommending all of my friends to go there now. Thanks you Dr. Szikman and staff for helping me to conquer my fears.

I have been going to Dr. Szikman (father) since 1994 and he has always done outstanding work, has great technology, is effective and efficient, and above all, I trust him. He is thorough and kind, and always communicates what he is doing when working on me.

I've been a patient of the father for 10 years, however, not as satisfied as before. He has much less patience than before and is often abrupt. I've referred several people to the sons and they are very happy with the care. I would switch to one of the sons but it would be too awkward.

Dr. Szikman (Father) has been my dentist for 10 years. When I first starting visiting his office, I had an extreme fear of the dental practice, due to some childhood experiences. After my first visit, I was and will never be afraid of them again. Dr. Szikman explains very procedure in detail and lets you know how long you will be in the chair. I highly recommend him and his staff, they are professional, gentle, and know the lastest procedures to help maintain healthy oral hygiene.

The dentists are a father and two sons. My dentist is Richard. I've only had two visits. One was prompted by a broken tooth and the second was to install a crown on the broken tooth and to fill another. Regarding the crown, they have this incredible machine that makes your crown onsite and it is installed on the same visit. I was out of there in less than 90 mins with a permanent crown and a filling. It is porcelain and fits great. Having lived for nearly a month with a temporary crown from another dentist, I can say this same day crown is an INCREDIBLE advantage for this office. Dr. Richard was extremely friendly and explained what he was doing throughout these procedures. The office staff was friendly and efficient. They filed with my insurance which is also a good benefit. After my previous dentist moved, I waited 7 years to go to another dentist because I couldn't find anyone who cared much for their dentist. I wish I would have found Dr. Richard much earlier. UPDATE: I've now had a cleaning done there and my opinion has not changed. The hygenist was very friendly and professional. After 7 years of no cleanings, it wasn't painful at all. Those with negative reviews of this office have had VERY different experiences than I.

The dentist used to be friendly and personable a few years back but now he hardly spends time with the patient and doesn't listen well. The hygienists did a pretty bad job. I was hurting for a couple of days.
