Tailor Decks did a project for us two years ago, which included a deck and screened in porch. We love everything they did, and the wood used is the best! One of the deck boards developed a split near the end, probably because of shrinkage. The Tailor Deck people are working a project just four doors away, so I stopped to seek their advice about the split. John (young John) immediately came to our house, looked at the split, went back to the current project, picked up a new deck board, cut it to length, and installed it, free of charge, all in about 15 minutes. That's customer service. Wow! Outstanding product and service

This has been an outstanding process from start to finish. John Paulin was able to give vision to our unspecified dream of a deck. He and his crew insisted on meeting all county building codes, were totally professional and ran like a well-oiled machine. The quality of the specially kilned wood was only exceeded by the quality of the workmanship. One of the crew is actually an experienced cabinet maker, making our custom benches look and feel like fine furniture. Detail, detail, detail is what Tailor Decks is all about.

Let me preface this review first- I worked in a back office capacity with Tailor Decks and did not have a deck built for me. However, I believe sometimes you can see more that way. John Paulin and his crew are honest, hard-working, and perhaps most importantly, highly-skilled deck builders. He (John) interested in improving the deck-building process and improving the experience for his customers. These guys are, in my opinion, the best in building decks.

I have been cleaning and sealing decks since 1997. I've probably done close to 800+ projects and the best looking decks I have ever worked on have been Tailor Decks. I think he has some special wood because they come cleaner and look better longer than any of the others I've worked on. I know Taylor Decks from the others because of the unique wood and there is never any frame distortion, sinking, loose rails or shotty craftsmanship. They get an A++ for making my job easier.

We could not be more pleased with our deck by Tailor Decks. The initial quality was sound and remains so today. the helpful hints on deck design were outstanding and the resulting work has created a spot for the family to get away from the real world for a while to read, cook out and eat, or just chill. This was a very sound investment for us and has greatly improved the appeal of our house.

John Paulin and his Crew have done two decks for us, and no matter where we move to next we will ask Tailor Decks to do it again. On the first occasion we did our homework, then visited some Tailor Decks, and we were instantly sold. Their workmanship and professionalism is top rate, John and the Crew were actually a pleasure to have on the job. No one ever leaves our home without comenting on how much they love our deck. John Paulin and Tailor Decks - simply the Best.

Tailor Decks was a great company to work with. They were there on time everyday and cleaned up after themselves. The workmanship on our deck and porch are fabulous. We could not have had a better experience!

Great company. We had an addition made to the house...and I did my homework in selecting the right vendor for us. These guys were always on time, communicated wonderfully...but the deck is the real proof of their work. Call them.
