We picked Tempe Mortuary after getting very helpful advice and info over the phone. Once there, Doug was not only caring and professional but able to work with our budget. They went the extra mile for us.

We used Tempe Morturry for our Dad's service many years ago. At that time they were compassionate, caring, and helped us in every way. When our Mom passed, we naturally called them, This was a big mistake. They must have changed management. The 'lady' in charge did not approve of Mom's 'wishes'. Mom wanted no viewing. She wanted to be cremated and have her ashes added to our Dad's urn. His urn was large, beautiful, and it was totally possible. The woman in charge belittled us. She went out of her way to make us feel more grief. At one point we nearly had to make arrangements to move our Mom to another mortuary but finally an agreement was made. Our Dad's urn was properly prepared, our Mom's ashes were added, and the engraver did a good job adding Mom's name, birth & death...and a special inscription for our parents. The bill, however, was inflated $150 over what it should have been. Again we had to go back and straighten it out. It was obvious that money was the name of the game and this 'woman' used our grief to try and change our Mom's wishes. Every time I pass Tempe Mortuary, I think of that miserable woman and worry about heartsick families who trust their loved ones to their care.
