It is not often that I take the time to write reviews on businesses that I deal with, but after more than one negative experience with this company - it is time. The staff, although VERY knowledgeable, do not know the first thing about customer service, time commitment, accountability, etc. Negative experience #1 occurred when I dropped of my Santa Cruz BLT for a tune-up. Should have been a no brainer for them. 5 Days later, I picked up the bike and went for a ride. It shifted just as badly as it did when I brought it in, the cables were just as worn, the brakes just as weak. I took it to another shop just to look over and it was determined that none of the work I had been charged for on the invoice had actually been done. I took it back to the Bike Co. where they acknowledged they had charged me for work done on a bike that looked like mine. So back into the shop it went for another full day. When I picked it up the second time, the cranks were loose, the cogs were loose - it was pathetic. I had them fix it before I left and wrote it up in my memory. Negative Experience #2 is still occurring - I dropped my bike off with a set commitment date; when that date came and by mid day I had not heard from them I called. 4 days after dropping off the bike and the bike had not even been up on the rack in front of the mechanic...how is that possible? I was promised the bike would be ready by closing time... Day and 1 /2 later I still don't have it.
