More than just daycare, The Goddard School located in Woodstock offers a child care program that nurtures a lifelong love of learning by providing dedicated teachers in a private preschool setting.
In May 2011, I moved my daughter to the Goddard School and it has been the best decision I've ever made. Shortly after us changing to Goddard there was a new owner but the transition went smoothly and worry free. Since the change in schools, my daughter has completely blossomed and she is like a whole new child. I've never had a single worry about the quality of care the entire time we've been there. The staff seems to genuinely care about each child. This has been a wonderful experience for our family. Thanks Goddard!

I have two children who have attended this school since June 2011. At the begining a few changes with ownership and staff were taking place but things quickly began to transition well. My son's have really blossomed in this school and the staff is great. Either the Director Stephanie or the Owner Mary Kay are always on site I feel confident that my children are nurtured and loved each and every day they are here. They have learned so much and continue to grow academically each day. This is by far the best choice for Preschool in this area.

I had my child in a school that was not a Goddard and cant believe I missed this school. After having an horrible expeience with another school, I went to visit The Goddard School. Stephanie the director took me on a tour and ensured me that we would be well taken care of. She was correct! Ms. Mendy my child's teacher makes a point to write a special message about my child everyday. Ms Stephanie makes a point to see my child everyday and the owner is there everyday! This makes a world of a difference especially since all these people see my child more than I do everyday. What a great nuturing place for my child!!

My son has been attending this school for over a year since I removed him from a different school. The change has been dramatic and I can't thank the teachers enough. The staff does a great job of welcoming my son and he enjoys going to class every day now. Such an improvement over my previous experience and great service. Thank you so much!

I have visited many schools in the area, I am lucky to have found the Canton Goddard School on Foster Road. This school is not the most expensive in the area but what my child has gotten from the curriculum is amazing and I wouldn't pay anything less! The Goddard's learning program is an amazing hands on experience you can only experience by seeing the children in action. All the teachers are loving and nurturing and the director has accommodated to my crazy work schedule. I feel my children are safe everyday. It is often hard to pull my children away from classroom when it's time for pick up. I would recommend this school to ALL parents in the Woodstock/Canton area!

My children attended this school since 2008. I wish that when the original owner sold the school last year we had never gone back. If you are looking for a caring & nurturing school where your child is treated with respect and valued as an individual rather than just a monthly tuition check do not send them here! If your children are already students here please listen to them when they say they have been bullied or that their teacher was "mean at them" Do not just accept the lies that the director will tell you or let her brush it off saying that "kids have to find their place". I feel horrible that I kept my son here as long as I did. Once I did give our notice and we were no longer a revenue source for the school I was lied to, my son was treated horribly, left out and made to feel unimportant by the staff at the Foster Rd Goddard and as further proof that they only care about the money, I sent an email to the new owners letting her know about our horrible experience and she never bothered to acknowledge it or to even send the smallest apology.

My 2 year old son has been at Goddard since May and he has thrived in their engaging, wonderful school. Ms. Dionne is an amazing teacher and really takes the time to engage with each child and parent. The entire staff has made our experience here a great one and the new owner Pam King has made many wonderful improvements and we greatly enjoy the atmosphere she and her staff have created and would recommend the school to any parent!

I signed my son up at the Goddard School/Foster Rd location thinking that he would be in a nurturing environment. I was wrong! I witnessed the director react physically with another child. The teachers are uneducated, sub-par, and should not be hired as lead teachers in a structured setting. Also, the director and teachers seem to be confused as they feel the need to diagnose children without so much as a medical degree or experience in the medical field. The only information they use to "diagnose" a child that clearly does not show any signs of a disability is pulled from Wikipedia and WebMD. They also believe in spanking a child that is not their own blood without that child's parent's consent.

While I can't say much for the Goddard Schools in general, this school is terrible. Do not enroll your child here. They do not care about you or your child. This was not a safe, nurturing environment for my child. They do not treat children, parents, or staff with respect. They do not follow protocl when it comes to food handling, diaper changing or staff ratios. A BIG WASTE OF MONEY - YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Before Goddard, we had many problems at the other preschools my son attended. Now in Pre-K at this Goddard School he is doing great. He is learning more everyday and he loves to go to school again. His teacher Ms. Nicole creatively engages the class everyday. While at school one day my son had a medical emergency; the Teachers and Staff were calm under pressure and handled the situation with agility and grace. Treva, the owner is wonderful and she always takes the time to talk. Although it does costs money to have our child in Private Pre-K but it has been worth every penny.
