4 wks ago., Grout Doctor (GD) visited our home to provide an estimate. A technician was assigned and began work the following week. To date, the job remains unfinished and we have been forced to contact another company to finish the work. Grout Doctor has not returned our calls and has left their materials and machinery in our home. Our master bath is worse off than prior to GD's work. All surfaces are incomplete and the calking around the shower-floor has been removed (allowing water to seep through the seams). However, GD has shown no sense of urgency or accountability. Since initially contacting GD, they have failed to show-up on numerous occasions, failed to return calls/voicemail messages, failed to respect the our time & proven themselves incapable of fulfilling the services bragged about on their website. This is absolutely the work service we have received from any company. We even contacted the owner and asked that they come pick-up their materials and tools. Predictably, we received no response. S. Have been getting to put our house on the market and our realtor suggested we contact the Grout Doctor to enhance the appearance of our master shower. What a fantastic job. JC was on time for the estimate and gave us a written estimate on the spot. Work was scheduled and completed on time leaving our shower in immaculate condition. Can't say enough about the professional manner in which the entire job was completed.

This review is long overdue. About two years ago I contacted Grout Doctor (GD) to get an estimate on repairing grout in my shower and replacing grout in on my master bathroom floor. GD sent "Melvin" to my house, and the repairs were to cost $300. Melvin, who happened to be an independent contractor for GD, did NOT know what he was doing. He ended up creating a dust bowl disaster in my house. Serve Pro had to be called in to clean-up, and the damage to my home was nearly $17,000 worth of damage. It was like extensive smoke damage. Melvin LIED, and claimed he hadn't caused the damage. And the Grout Doctor wouldn't return any of my phone calls. My home-owners insurance company and I had to pay for the damage. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

New owners. Excellent response in terms of time of reply to inquiry and estimate. Work done in a professional manner. Neat and clean and well priced. Excellent value.

The Grout Doctor re-grouted our master bath and hall bath. At first it looked good, but quickly became clear that they skim-coated it rather than actually removing the grout and doing the job properly. Owner/manager doesn't return phone calls and the national organization doesn't stand behind the work.

I had them re-grout my tiled master shower stall. It looked good at first, but very quickly the clear caulk they used started turning black. Now several caulked seams on the shower floor are black and the job needs to be done again. I believe this a franchise, so not all of "Grout Doctors" may be as bad as this. I would advise finding someone else to do your grouting work.

Used them to regrout our shower. Very poor and sloppy work. They had to redo the floor because it was done so poorly the first time. Cleanup was terrible and they ruined a painted surround tile OUTSIDE of the shower, which they should have never have been near. Beware!

When I was charged more after the work was done I asked to speak with person who quoted me the price but he was out of town. Received threatening phone call from owner (who quoted the price) who stated he was turning us over to a collection agency for non-payment. The worker (his nephew) never asked for payment in the first place! Owner claimed his nephew ALWAYS asks for payment and wouldn't believe me nor would he ASK his nephew if I was telling the truth. I would NEVER consider doing business with Grout Doctor again.
