The Haunted Hotel is one of the few professional haunted houses left in San Diego. Actually, nearly every haunted house in San Diego is either owned or somehow is involved with the people that own The Haunted Hotel. Some feel it's expensive, but it's not much more than a cost of a movie ticket, and it's terribly expensive to produce - it's totally worth going to. I'm very happy that San Diego has the Haunted Hotel and would recommend it to everyone - who wants to get scared that is.

I would say this is the best haunted house in San Diego in October which is why the lines are always long. Whoever wanted to create a haunted house in Downtown was really smart. The price is reasonable and worth every penny spent on that and parking too!

Now the Haunted Hotel is waaaayyyy better than Frightmare On Market Street. I actually screamed like a little girl when someone grabbed my ankle. Now that was freaky! Love this place. We go every year during the month of October.

The spookiest and kookiest! A yearly tradition. Well put together and staffed. Very safe environment. Worth the long lines any October. would recommend to anyone - resident or visitor.

If you have not made your way to the Haunted Hotel during Halloween season you are really missing out. This place is spooktacular! My friends and I go here every year and are never disappointed. The layout is great and the overall experience is a must.

I found this haunted hotel to be the scariest compared to Frightmare on Market. They had some great scares in this one. At one point, I wanted to exit out but my friends encouraged me to finish it.

Maybe I'm just turning into more and more of a wuss, but I think it's getting scarier every year. My friends were digging their nails into my arms. The wait was pretty long (on busy nights the line can wrap around the building) but it was worth it. Not for the faint of heart, though!
