I have had both of my boys with the Learning Curve over the last 4+ years. My oldest son has moved on to Kindergarten now and my youngest is still with TLC. TLC has been wonderful to both my boys over the past several years. The center has a wonderful Pre-K program that they put the children through as they get closer to leaving for kindergarten. My oldest son was able to pass his exit exam on his first day of Kindergarten. His first day! A lot of that credit goes to the teachers at the center and the owners approach to not just babysitting your kids every day, but teaching them and preparing them for school. My youngest son is well on his way to the same success that my oldest son has achieved. Regards, Dustin Minnick

My Son has been going to the Learning Curve for over a year now. I would recommend this preschool to anyone. From the well trained and caring owners, directors, and staff to the cleanliness and size of the facility, It is a very friendly and warm center with a lot to offer. My son looks forward to going to school everyday to see his teacher Mr. Sean. He is excited to talk about his day with me on our way home. From Social studies, math, spelling to signlanguage, there is a lot to share. The communication and feedback I receive from the staff and directors is outstanding. I would highly recommend any parent who wants their child to be in a fun, loving, and learning environment to consider this school.

as you an tell from the way the owner attacks people who poorly rate his business.... they are just rude sad people. There are so many better places for the money. I agree the staff is young and inexperienced. Having children doesn't make you an expert. They do not address your concerns such as biting (which also happened to me often) The staff is too busy testing to care and the owners are extremely rude and unprofessional. I am thrilled my children are not in this place any more

When you take a tour of the place it seems very modern and nice but once you get in there - wow. This place is nothing special in any sense. They have Internet cameras - which are pathetic at best. They make a nice sales point but that's all. When we constantly complained about the same issue (such as "biting" kids), it was always "we'll get right on it" and nothing was done. Most of the staff are very young and inexperienced. The one thing that really stood out about this daycare is that they will nickel and dime you TO DEATH. Have an emergency? Stuck in traffic and late 15 minutes? Prepare to cough it up. Want to take a vacation for more than two working days? Make a run to the bank cause you'll need it. There are other daycares at least as good as this place with better staff, more formal eduction planning and that are a much better value for you daycare dollar. Do yourself a favor, if your only option is this place, move to another city.

Randall-First I am curious as to why you have waited over a year and a half (left TLC 5/25/2009) to decide to post a negative review? We are a family owned and operated business and the owners are on site daily, as well as being available to all of our customers via cell phone and email, including after hours. Our camera system is state of the art and can even be viewed via mobile phones. The majority of our staff is far from inexperienced and in fact we do not have one single staff member with less than two years of center based experience, not just baby sitting. We pride ourselves on having some of the most flexible programs available to meet just about anyone's needs. To complain about being charged when you are late seems a little ridiculous to me. Our staff needs to be paid and if you are late and keeping a staff member from being able to leave at their scheduled off time they have a reasonable expectation to be paid. Perhaps the Fidlers will work for free, but I would not expect our staff to do so. The Fidlers also signed and agreement and all charges, including any late pick up, were explained. Also our vacation policy was explained also (and it is more than 2 days). If the Fidlers had a question in regards to billing or vacation use it would have been very simple for them to simply poke their head into my office and ask. The Learning Curve recently went through our three year re-license inspection (the most in depth and comprehensive inspection conducted)as well as our annual inspection, at the same time, both performed unannounced by The Arizona Department of Health Services and received a 100% compliance rating. That is quite rare. We stand by our facility, staff and educational programs that have been quite successful for the last six years. Unfortunately we have found not everyone will be happy or can even be made happy despite our best efforts. We offer customizable programs to try and fit each family's schedules as well as their financial needs. Sadly most negative reviews revolve around money. We cannot divulge personal information to parents about another child and that sometimes is regarded as a problem being ignored, even if it is being resolved with the other family. Too often parents jump to conclusions and are judgmental of others and are not willing to allow a resolution to even occur. It's a shame that a parent waits far beyond the time they have actually been in the center to write a negative review, but I guess that is their prerogative. Best of luck to you Randall as well as Olivia and your wife. Ted Pichler-Owner, The Learning Curve.
