Spent many late nights here back in the day. Maybe it is all relative to the inebreation factor but I used to love the Majestic. Went recently and got kicked out for taking photos so I never got my food. That may be well and good because a close friend has a roach story that will keep me from eating there.

Its a diner, nothing more nothing less. Great traditional diner food. Service has always been good. I have never waited and I go Saturday mornings. Much better than Waffle house.

Frequently have long wait times - for unbelievably cramped seating. Typical greasy diner fare. Not tasty, too expensive, and unlikely to get your order right. Skip this diner and go to Waffle House, instead.

Others seem a bit harsh here; just went for lunch for first time. Of course it is what it is, but thought the large cheeseburger with lettuce and nice tomatoes plus fries was satisfactory, esp. for $5.50 (or was it $6.50?). Still... Breakfast all day looked great and a nearby lady was scarfing down a huge pancake, bacon and egg and raving about it. I wished I had tried that. Staff is a bit rough around the edges, but were friendly and did their job. The "meat and two" choices sounded decent too. I'd go back.

This is the perfect spot for that late night/early morning grease fix. Whether it's eggs and bacon or a cheeseburger that you crave, the Majestic has it 'round the clock. So, don't go to bed hungry. Hustle over to the Majestic for a bite to eat.

"Food that pleases since 1929" screams the Majestic in pink neon on Ponce. Before Sonny's smoking ban this was an all-night haunt for the tattooed hipster set, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. It's odd now to go into a smoke-free Majestic. But anyway. Their coffee is good. Yes, the Waffle House's food is better and not as greasy, but the M. is cheap and always fun for people watching after you've been out drinking too much.

this is gross food, bad service high prices waffle house food is better and cheaper, they are open 24 hours and it gets crowded after concerts and after the bars let out but food location is the only saving grace, historic eatery but heavy on the grime and grease
