I have tried to groom my dog before and I know its hard to do even if you know how. Dogs don't always want to do what you want them to do, I know this. I really appreciate people like Debbie and Amy who love what they do and do it well. Some people just don't understand what dog grooming is and why its important. I've learned from my past experience with other groomers that really didn't have their heart into their work. The Paw Spa does and it shows in the details they provide on my Shih Tzu. She hates her nails done and she's kind of a brat in her bath so I'm so grateful that these gals have a gentle knowledgeable way to get my Widget looking great and happy when she comes home. I love the bows she gets and the way the shop is so clean. Their friendly attitude is a plus!!

They discriminate against certain dog breeds! Booooooo!!! This place advertises $10 for a nail trim, yet wanted to charge me $3 extra because my dog is a Doberman. This place discriminates based on the breed of your dog! I am new to Temecula & have NEVER had that issue EVER. I have had Dobermans my entire life & they have never been aggressive or bit anyone. Regardless, I can see them charging extra based on the disposition of the dog but no one has ever had a problem trimming her nails, she is very gentle. I have another large dog that I have to have groomed often & even though this shop is closest to my house, I will never use them. Not to mention the lady that answered was RUDE. The star for Quality isn't fair since I didn't go there, but it made me provide a rating. I would imagine if they are rude to you, they do not treat your animals very well either.

I purchased Mutts & Cutts Grooming July 2010. We renamed it, The Paw Spa. I'd like to clear up this misunderstanding. The assumption is we charged more because this person had a Doberman. Our prices for nail clipping STARTS at $10, larger dogs (doesn't matter the breed) are $13. Previously, the former owner charged $17 for large dog nail clipping. We actually lowered our prices. We are very friendly and sweet and if this person had come in with his dog, he would see we are and that the facility is very clean and nice. Small dog haircuts cost less than big dog haircuts and the same is true for nail clippings. I think the review above was a little sensitive to bad opinions of Dobermans but actually I like Dobie's a lot. Hope this clears this issue up. Thank you
I can not believe how rude I was treated by the lady at the counter, when I asked for the total price before I left my dog with her. He was a rescue that I we had just gottenand he needed a shave. her price was between $45-80 over the phone, but when I got there she would not give me exact price and was very mean. when I asked to talk to the groomer for a price the owner came out and yelled at me stating " I thought we already told you we won't know until we were done" Awful people stay away from them, just plain jerks

This review applied to the former owner of Mutts & Cutts Grooming. I changed the name in JULY 2010 to The Paw Spa when I purchased this business. Whatever happened prior to July 2010 was not under the new owner's management. We are very nice and love what we do. I'm very professional and this is my 2nd location, the other is in Newport Beach. I would never, ever, treat a customer like what was described above and if that happened before I owned the business, that's a shame. But when you buy a business, you also have to buy the reputaton and work hard at correcting any mishandling of clients in the past. I am grateful for my clients and it shows everyday. Thank you for your understanding that the above review does not apply to the current owner or management.
