With the short time I have taken residency at Post Crest, this is what I have experienced thus far. There have been 3 apartment robberies over the past 3 months making a total of 6 for the year. Per spotcrime.com the dates are: 1-28-14 2-5-14 2-14-14 5-6-14 7-9-14 8-4-14 Post Crest sends out a generic email exonerating themselves from any and all responsibility. The email states that we as residents need to be more careful and if we see suspicious activity should call the local police or the courtesy officer who is nothing more than a volunteer watchman. There are no security cameras located on any of the units which if Post Crest provided might prevent further robberies. The maintenance respond quickly when a work order is entered but only to band aid the problem. The apartment is full of quick fixes. Rumor among the residents is that Post Properties build a complex and after 20 years sell it off to another Property Management which explains the shoddy work provided. This complex was built in 1996 and it shows. If you take a tour look closely at the outdated appearance within the unit and at the outside of the apartment building itself. The front office does a great job making you feel welcome and confident of the complex. Don't be fooled by this and learn from my experience because once you get past them you are left with all of the above.

Renting here is not worth the money. If you have problems with your apt, it takes 2 calls min to get someone to show up to fix the prob. Women in leasing office are not very nice (except Linda). I moved out when they wanted way over 10 percent more to renew my lease. Many more apts in area are just as nice and cost a lot less.

I lived at Post Crest for a year. I had various maintenance problems but they were addressed in a reasonable amount of time. The complex is older. The rent is too high, in my opinion, for what you get. The staff is generally nice but that's it. They won't go the extra mile to satisfy residents. It's not the best. It's not the worse. It's average.

recently I have been looking for an apartment and I was very intrested in moving into a Post apartment complex. Upon arrival at the complex I really did not feel as if they were very intersted in geting me into one of there apartments. Most places that I go to, they allow you to drive around the complex and view normal everyday activities of the residents. Then they are right there to answer any questions or concerns you might have. When I was there, I felt as if I was there on my own, and that it really did not matter whether or not I moved in, came back, or never showed up again. To me I was not their number one concern.
