I have been a patient there for past eight years. Great service and excellent staff. Doctors are very knowledgeable. This is the only clinic I go to because they take care of pretty much everything you can think of and they are open long hours everyday. Fits my schedule, never have to take time off of work to go to the doctor's office.

Me and my husband went for my 6 months general checkup visit at the Primary Care Center, Decatur office today. I had a very humiliating experience there which is why I decided to write this review. The PA, Daniel McCarty was very rude to me and my husband. He was talking very rudely/loudly without any provocation when my husband asked a question about the number of refills. He did not take the time to listen and understand our concern but rather treated us badly. Usually we get a prescription with one month's worth of supply with five refills for the following months. Instead of that he gave us a prescription with 3 months of supply with one refill (because of this I have to now buy 3 months worth of supply at one time and stock it when I could have bought a fresh one each month+ pay a bulk amount at one time for the prescription). My husband wanted to ask him if he could correct this for us but we were humiliated by his rude behavior and attitude that I wanted to leave. Dr.Shikh, please appoint polite and service oriented PAs like Cynthia rather than PAs who treat customers badly. I wanted to send a feedback to Dr.Shikh but I could not find a feedback form on the website. I am very sad to say that I have never had this bad of a customer service experience before.

After two days of high fever and flu like symptoms, I chose The Primary care center, mostly due to location. The staff checked me in pretty promptly, were very attentive and had a very thorough line of screening questions. The actual wait was about average, as there were other patients in there at the time. I had a few basic tests, an x-ray and bloodwork done. One thing that was very helpful, was that with every step of the visit, I was informed how much the incurred charges would be, especially beneficial if this was an out-of-network provider. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of the staff and the facility, with only one minor grievance- my prescription was sent to a pharmacy other than what I requested.

As a patient of the primary care center for many years I have enjoyed excellent, high quality health care services. The caring, knowledgeable doctors, friendly staff, and availability of after hour as well as holiday office hours has been of great benefit to me and my family. Dr. Charan Shikh has been my primary care physician for over 13 years and I would highly recommend the primary care center to others within the Decatur and Metro Atanta Area

I think there are three or four practitioners there. Dr. Shikh or Physician's Assistant Robinson are the ones who usually see me. I always get prompt attention, and even when they are busy, they get me into a room as soon as they can. They always work me in the same day if I ask them to do so. They are always respectful and professional. I highly recommend them.

Stay away...your health depends on it. After getting a diagnosis from the doctor, he prescribed medication to treat my illness. When I asked him about any possible side effects he just said "don't worry about it", when I asked again he just told me I wouldn't have any and it wasn't important. Naively I filled the prescription and began taking the dosage prescribed by the doctor. Within two weeks I began having symtoms that were very severe, and even indicated possibility of annyerism. When I called the office they said they would have a doctor call me back. That took 36 hours, in the mean time I stopped taking the medication. The doctor didn't actually call, but had a nurse call. She said the side effects were serious and I should have gone to the emergency room. Thanks for not telling me that 36 hrs ago!! The last time I was in (this morning) was a trip for blood work...my last ever visit. The receptionists were too busy talking about a signinficant other that had overdosed on PCP to get me my form so I could sign in. When I was called back to the examination room I sat for 45 minutes without so much as an explanation why it was taking so long. I finally walked out nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment, never to return again.

My mother was in town for a visit and needed some medical care. She was never even able to see a real doctor, and the physician's assistant did not know anything at all! Plus, since she couldn't find her Medicare card, they charged outrageous amounts for every freaking little thing BEFORE they would even see her. Ethical? Absolutely not! I call that robbing the people who are most vulnerable. If I could give this place zero or a "negative" amount of stars, I would. Do not waste your time here...it is solely a money-making machine with little regard for human health!

I have been a patient of the clinic for four years. Jamie was my doctor and he is no longer there. They have all new people there. I went yesterday for a 5:00 appointment and at 6 30 I asked the reciptionest how long until i was seen, and she told me there were still three people in front of me. BULL SH*T. i left and asked for my 30 dollar co pay back and they said no. I think this place accepts medicade now because there are a bunch of mexicans, 10 year old pregnant black girls.. Crazy! I use to love this place, but I'll NEVER be back again.

I'm a 53 year old white male and haven't had a check-up in ages. I have never had a positive medical experience until I was referred to Ms. Canida by a friend who is under her care at Primary Care. I'm writing this review because Ms. Canida put me at ease right away. I plan to transfer my health care to the Primary Care Center under the care of her. I would recommend anyone to this clinic, and Ms. Canida, very highly.

I have lived in Decatur for years before seeing the Primary Care Center in the Kroger shopping center. The young male PA Jamie is very knowledgeable and patient with me. He asked me plenty of questions about my problems and my medical history and then he answered all my questions! Not many doctors even do that. I have a great deal of confidence in his plans on how to get me back to feeling well. We are still working on my issues, but I am already feeling better! Recommend

I went to this clinic to have blood work done. Although the experience in the clinic was basically fine, I was appalled at the follow-up. First of all, days went by and I heard nothing from them regarding my blood test results (they had been there for several days). Then, I was unable to ever get an actual physician on the phone to answer my question about the test results - I spent my evening googling what each value meant. I was very clear when I went to this clinic (and spent several hours there) that I felt I might be anemic again. One of the items on my test results, which was out of the normal range, is an indication of anemia. After trying several times to have an actual doctor from the clinic call me, and after me even telling them "I have resorted to googling what this stuff means", and even after saying "Well, I guess I need to find a new doctor," - their response was a monotone "ok." Thus, basically I have paid for a blood test result that I cannot get a doctor (or nurse) to discuss with me over the phone for two minutes. Avoid this place.

Until I went to this office. I had a suspicious looking mole and couldn't get an appointment with my dermatologist for 2 weeks. I was too worried to wait, so I went to the Primary Care Center for a biopsy. Cynthia Canada was the PA I saw and she was fantastic. Just a little sting was all I felt. She's as good or better than my dermatologist. Very skilled and wonderful "bedside manner". I was really scared and worried, but her calm and gentle personality made me relax. I'm so glad I went.

I called to make an appointment with P.A. Canada and was told she's no longer there :( I really trusted her and liked her more than any doc I've been to. Does anyone know where she is?

Patient for 8 years - never going back again. Place looks like a welfare clinic, no client service, wait for 2 hours (with an appointment) and the doctor no longer sees patients - he now employs 2 PA's that take 20 seconds to see you. Better bet - go to the minute clinic at CVS.
