I went to the store at 711 boylston on Monday to buy a pair of Sorel Caribou winter boots. I was charged $140. When I got home I noticed that the tannery.com and sorel.com have the boots that I bought listed for $110. I was very frustrated by this but I was willing to give the store the benefit of the doubt, and hoped it was an honest mistake. When I called the store to tell them what happened. The woman that I spoke to (her name is Lisa) told me that the website price was wrong but she would refund me the difference. She said she would give me a refund of $20.00. When I told her that I was overcharged by $30.00, she said that wasn't true because I would have been charged 10.00 for shipping if I had bought them from the tannery.com She then when on to say that I had to pay for the fact that I tried them on in there store. This really bothered me so I asked to speak to the owner, and was told he would call me back within the hour. After getting off the phone I went to tannery.com and noticed that they offer free shipping, So what Lisa told me was a complete lie. A little bit later I received another call and was told I would be given a refund for $20 plus $10. I'm glad that I finally got the refund that I deserved but this situation did not need to go this way. No wrongdoing was acknowledged and I was never given an apology. I will never shop at this store again, and I advise that others save their time and money by not even bothering going into the store.
