Miss B has been the biggest blessing in caring for our infant son. I was initially very hesitant about going back to work after giving birth to our first born. Since finding B, I feel like I am leaving my son with family when I drop him off each morning; she has definitely made the transition in going back to work so much easier. Not only is Brenda state certified, she is loving, caring, and provides a very clean and safe home environment for the children. She has also helped immensely in getting my son in a great structured routine and nap schedule. She sends me sweet videos and photos of my son during the day and makes the most precious gifts with the children for holidays. I cannot say enough good things about her and I don't know what we would do without her! We love Miss B and are so thankful for her!

Our 2 year old has been with Ms. B at TTSE since he was 8 weeks old. What a joy to watch him grow and learn with sweet friends and excellent care. The skills and values we teach him at home are modeled by Ms. B. She is structured (& clean!) as well as nurturing - and our son loves her! He is talking (a lot) and learning new words daily - another benefit of all he gets to experience in day with Brenda. My husband and I are so grateful we were referred to TTSE for his care!

We couldn't have asked for a better blessing when we found Brenda. I interviewed a few caregivers who were not state certified and thought I was going to have to settle for that. But I am so appreciative that Brenda is certified and always makes sure that she is doing the right thing in all ways - not only to protect herself and her business, but to protect my child and the other children in her care. She has made my life so much easier because I don't worry or fret about if my daughter being taken care of or having fun because she ALWAYS is - and it's the care that comes from love. Brenda is a blessing that I don't deserve but so glad I got!

After a year of Montessori childcare, my husband and I felt helpless and unsure of where to turn, as we never had a peace about the care and attention our baby was receiving. Countless nights and many prayers later, we decided there had to be a better option for our family. This is when we found Ms. Brenda... She has been such an asset to our family. We can't think her enough for the time she spends reading books to our son and his friends, playing outside with them, sending us quick pictures so we get a glimpse into his day, for the care she puts into cooking their meals, and most importantly for giving our son the guidance and routine that he so desperately needed. Not only has she been an answered prayer for him, but she has also been our parenting coach when we weren't sure what to do - We truly do appreciate her more than she knows!

It has now been 11 years, but I am still forever indebted to our wonderful savior, Miss B. Could not have survived those first few years without her advice, support, guidance, and love she showed my son and I. Made going back to work after having a preemie that much easier knowing he was in good hands. And all these years later, she still never forgets my son's birthday. Costs a tad more than a public daycare, but worth every penny and thensome...

Brenda has become part of our family, but yet professional in the way she treats me as a parent. She is so knowledgeable of her field. I find myself constantly asking her advice (which always works) when faced with discipline issues at home. With her, my child has a ball. He came to her with separation anxiety and within a month was completely at ease and learning to be a great boy and fun play partner with the other kids. They learn a lot and moreover, they learn manners and the "right" ways to act and follow rules. I absolutely could not be the efficient working mother that I am without her.

My daughter has been with Brenda for almost 3 years. We were so happy that she was in a "home" environment and getting personal attention and love. Our older son had been in a commercial daycare at 6 months. There were so many babies and frequent staff turnover, and we worried all the time that he wasn't getting the attention that he needed. This was never a concern at B's. When she was an infant, we were encouraged by the fact that she was going to be held when she needed to be comforted, because of Brenda's connection with kids and the lower number of babies. Our daughter absolutely adores "B". She is amazing with the kids. Brenda always has them on a consistent routine, which is critical for babies/toddlers. She follows a structured curriculum, where they are learning something every day. She knows her ABC's, numbers 1-20, colors, opposites (i.e. big and small), spelling her name, lots of songs, etc. She also helps them with following directions, listening and just everyday life skills. She communicates and works well with the parents to make sure each child is getting what they need. Also, Brenda's house is always immaculately clean and safe. The most important thing to us was that we knew the type of person Brenda is, and we trusted her completely with our child. We knew that our daughter was getting the absolute best care, which means a great deal when you have to be away from your baby.

As a pediatric speech therapist who travels to both in-home and large commercial day care centers, I knew what I wanted for my children. Brenda has provided a loving, safe environment where my kids have loved to learn. From manners & respect to colors & letters, Ms B has nurtured both of my children. Our youngest has severe food allergies. Ms B has went out of her way to provide safe/healthy home cooked meals for her while being so diligent in making sure that my daughter's nutritional needs are met. She was a Godsend with our first baby when we had a million questions everyday :-) We love Ms B and have so much respect for all she has done for our family.

Brenda is truly a child whisperer. Everyday she takes the necessary time to interact with the children personally teach them manners and social skills, and develops an incredible educational foundation for each of her students. My daughter is about to begin Kindergarten this fall and she can already read on a 3rd grade level without any problems. If you want your child to excel in life, personal growth, and be prepared for a challenging world, there is no better daycare provider available. I personally made the drive from Cumming to Woodstock just to make sure that my daughter had the best resources available to her. Ms. B's passion for excellence and education makes her stand apart from all the rest. You won't be disappointed. Brenda is simply amazing.

If you're looking for a childcare environment with quality and personal care, this is the place for you! The Tennis Shoe Express offered my children a small, in-home, caring environment with structure and organization. I could rest with ease knowing they were in the best hands every day and that their childcare experience was more loving and personal than what they would experience in any daycare setting elsewhere. It's a very professional environment and my kids always had a home-cooked meal, a loving hug, and lots of educational, creative play!

Brenda is extremely good with the children. She always cooks them a healthy variety of meals (breakfast and lunch) and instills great habits in them. Our one year old is counting and learning his alphabet already. "He" makes us gifts every holiday that are definitely going to be in his keep-for-when-I'm-older box. She has an entire wall of "past graduates" that she still keeps in touch with and can provide excellent recommendations from all of them. We recommend her over a bigger daycare because of the personal attention our son gets, her reliability and flexibility, and her lower price.
