I am new to Woodstock and read the reviews. I noticed they were all old but there were only 2 bad reviews out of 29, so I thought I'd give it a shot. None of the employees who had the good reviews are working there anymore, there were only 3 including the owner, Liza. I had an important function to attend so Liza said she should be the one to do my hair and quoted me a price. I wanted the first appt. available since my time was limited. She was 20 minutes late which was a little irritating. It took her another 20 minutes to get ready to do my hair. She looked at my hair, cut it and did what I would call a "mediocre" job if that. I went to pay and she charged me over $20. more than what was quoted. I asked her why and she said it was because of the time it took to do my hair. I told her my time was important also and I waited 40 minutes for her, when there were 2 other employees there who probably could have one a better job. (Total of 3 employees include herself from what I understand, none of which are listed on any of he past reviews) She told me to either pay the price or she would call the police. I don't recommend Crazy Orchid unless you want to listen to all her personal problems or watch her look at her iPhone while she online dates. It's unprofessional, dirty and over priced...don't waste your time or money!

I walked into The Wild Orchid, as a new client, and was instantly greated with a smile, eye contatct, and a brief tour of the salon. The salon excudes personality and is filled with charming touches from the furniture to the ceiling(look up)! After meeting with Sarah(a.k.a. hair stylist extraodinaire)and deciding on a direction, I was provided an ice cold beverage as she set straight to work. As a year long at home bottle user, Sarah had her work cut out for her. I also had a consultation with the owner Liza for my cut-she instantly soothed my nerves as my last cut at another salon was a tragic mistake. Her extensive knowledge and ablility to educate her clients is remarkable. Throughout the whole process(6 hours as I was quite the mess), I felt comfortable and received personalized attention. During conversation Sarah discovered it was my birthday and I was planning on hitting the town with friends. She set to work on make-up with tips and tricks included! I entered The Wild Orchid a hot mess, and left feeling sexy, confident, and renewed. I have received so many compliments from family, friends, and strangers. I encourage you to give Sarah or Liza's chair a spin, you won't be disappointed!

This salon is so good! All of the stylists definitely know what they are doing and have had the best possible education there is. I have never been happier with the way my hair looks! Sarah has amazing talent and the sweetest personality. She really connects with her clients and makes sure they leave her chair smiling! The Wild Orchid Salon is definitely the best there is!

This place was absolutely wonderful! The owner, Liza, really loves what she does and gives every one of her clients 100%! My entire family goes here and has given each stylist a try - they are all so talented and lovely in their own ways. I highly recommend the Wild Orchid Salon to anyone and everyone!

I recently went from brunette to blonde, and Jamie is hands-down the best colorist I've ever gone to! I was so impressed with the care she took with taking steps to lighten my hair without ravaging it. Absolutely worth it! Thanks so much!

My daughter in-law suggested Wild Orchid Salon because she goes there and it is also very close to where we live. The people there seem extremely friendly and nice. I have been going to Roya and she is very professional and I'm very happy with my hair. She spends all the time you need to do a great color and cut. Roya listens to what you want and then will give her knowledgeable opinion so in the end you are very satisfied.

I went to this salon after seeing one of the stylist hair. Walking in I was stunned to see the place looked more like a doggie daycare than a salon. There were 2 dogs jumping all over furniture and everything. It seemed like the place really needed to be cleaned and sanitized. But against my instincts I stayed. At first my hair looked ok. But coming home and looking at it closely, it was horrible. I wanted red and blonde highlights. well I got spotted pink highlights. I went back to get it fixed back to my original. She did fix it, but wanted me to pay for their mistake. I argued and the owner was really hostile. She pointed toward the door and told me to leave. I was taken back at the words she used towards me. Never Never would I go near this place.

Having recently called to see my regular stylist John, I was informed he was out of town & had another stylist look after me. Not only was I kept waiting 1 hour but also missed the function I had gotten my hair-do for. Needless to say I was disgusted & then found out John had relocated to gossiphairsalon.net on main street woodstock. I intend telling all my friends about his move..

Yes, there are misunderstandings in any business, but John Moore, European Stylist is back at The Wild Orchid Salon! PLUS there are two new stylists, totaling 5 stylists to help you with your new look!

Most reviews sound great so I decided to give a try. My 1st appt w Liza for a haircut and they called and cancelled that morning due to her being sick. Okay-no problem-it happens. I visited my normal hair dresser that following week and got a cut. The salon had a great article about them in the Around TowneLake magazine so I decided to give them another opportunity and scheduled an appt for the Balayage with Liza. Again, they called 3 hours before my appt to say she was sick and we needed to reschedule. Needless to say I will never make another appt there and I will tell all my friends in the Towne Lake area.

The best stylist this salon ever had was John. He did an extraordinary makeover on me, and I knew I'd found my forever stylist. I was horrified when I found out he had chosen to leave because of the un-professionalism of this salon and its owner. But to my delight, he's now working in Downtown Woodstock at the new Gossip Hair Salon or you can reach him at 404-735-9959. Take my word for it, you'll regret going to Wild Orchid. Even one star is generous.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LIZA!! I went in hoping she could fix a horrible color job, which totally destroyed (FRIED) my hair. I knew it would be a challenge, but Liza worked a miracle! She is a connoisseur of color! Her technique, skill, and product line are the best of the best - and after a keratin treatment, I can honestly say that my hair has NEVER looked better!! I left in tears because I was so happy. It was obvious that Liza cares deeply about her work and her clients. I will not trust my hair with anyone else again.

I just recently moved here from West Virginia, and I was looking for a new stylist, The manager told me about Kelsey who is the salons "new talent" and I thought shoot let's do it. Kelsey is a cute, adorable, professional, hardworking employee. She knew i was a new client, and she came over and we had a consultation. She told me what her thoughts were and then asked me what I wanted. I told her and we both decided on the best thing for my hair. I went in with long frumpy grey hair, and I left with a gorgeous cut with layers, and highlights lowlights and NO GREY!! I felt 100 times better after seeing her and I will definitely be back to see her. I have found my new stylist and I will never change!! One thing I love about Kelsey is that she talked with me about my life, i have been to many salons where the stylists talked about themselves the entire time. Kelsey is a wonderful stylist and i highly recommend her to everyone!!!!!

I have followed Liza to the ends of the earth--not really, just in and around the Cobb/Cherokee area for the past decade or so. She's the best. Don't trust your tresses to anyone else. She is talented, knows how to make you look your best and she works magic on every customer who walks through her door. I've seen women walk out the door looking ten years (and more!) younger than when they walked in. Ignore the negative comments about price--Liza is fair and competitive. Those few people who wrote negative reviews were probably her envious competitors. I've recommended and continue to recommend Liza to every woman I meet. Absolutely the best hairstylist in town--better than Buckhead, hands down!
