All went well as far as getting glasses prescription. Fitting contacts was performed in another department - it was a bit strange experience. I was pushed for contacts with astigmatism correction, even if my astigmatism is marginal - I see perfectly fine in regular contacts. After trying prescribed contacts i have tried to change my prescription back to regular contacts-I did not like the way the contacts were feeling on me. I called Sandy Springs location (678) 781-7306 multiple times (at least 5 times - I left message each time) - received just one call back - unfortunately I missed it by 5 min - when I called back, I had to leave the message again. After calling different number and explaining the situation I was transferred back to the same voice mail!!! So far I did not received call back? Also the billing process could be made a bit more efficient - charging deductible "just in case" is unnecessary. Better communication between providers and insurance could make a difference. I received another bill a month later saying that I still owe another $25 - apparently charging deductible was not enough - the statement did not explain the reasoning for that charge either - I had to call their billing department to find out, that I was wrongly charged at the first place???

Awful. Swore I would never go back. Put this feedback on cust survey, never heard anything. Assembly line. In fact I was inconvenient because several people were out and by being there I was messing things up. Staff argued over who would take care of me. Based on Kudzu reviews my experience seems typical. The funny thing is that my family of four contact lens/eye glass wearers have been going to Thomas for nearly 25 years. Until recently we have had nothing but good things to say about Thomas.

My primary doctor at Thomas Eye Group referred me to another specialist in the group, Dr. Stephens, at the location downtown. He was very engaging and helped me understand in layman's terms the issues that I had been having with my left eye. He and the ladies in the office were all very professional and I appreciate him for helping me with my problem.

I had a routine eye exam at Thomas Eye Group and had a terrible experience. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours after my appointment time until finally seen by a technician. The receptionist was disengaged and unhelpful. Other patients were having similar experiences. I understand emergencies can happen in physicians offices but if this happens let patients know and reschedule. My time is important too. There were many elderly and disabled patients that struggled with the touch screen registration system. It is absurd they are forced to deal with it. I will never go to this location again.

Scheduling office goofed on scheduling and set our son's appointment for the wrong day. As a result, our son will not be seen until 2 weeks after he was supposed to have a follow up to ensure his glasses prescribed for newly diagnosed severe astigmatism are not further harming his vision. Scheduling office was very arrogant and did not care about the potential harm to my son's vision.
