My son had ear tubes in after chronic ear infections and the tubes lasted 2 years! Dr Thomsen is great and the Nurse Practitioner(Denise?) we use is so sweet! I highly recommend this practice and they are worth the wait! They do not overbook appointments and Dr Thomsen is a great dr who seems to truly care for his patients!

Dr. Thomsen performed an unnecessary surgery on my daughter. He put ear tubes in her ear so that we determine if she had a hearing loss. She did not have a history of ear infections. One year later, I am still trying to find out if she has a hearing loss. We keep getting her tested and the tests are inconclusive. I wait weeks for someone to return my calls. Once my daughter had the surgery, I could not schedule a follow-up with Dr. Thomsen, only the nurses. Then it takes them weeks to return your call and act as your intermediary between you and Dr. Thomsen. He wanted nothing to do with my daughter once he was done with the surgery. I would love to find another dr, but it seems that everyone uses him.

My 3 year old ahd a T&A and 5 days bled out from it. He was wonderful in handling the emergency situation. He called in a hematologist in - which we found out later she has a bleeding disorder -scheduled the OR asap and two months later we were at the hospital and he recognized us and asked how she was doing. That amazed me.

Seems like almost everyone I know has used this practiced for their pediatric ENT. While the practice is very hard to get an initial appt, once you are in - you'll get a feel for the competency and skill of Dr. Thomsen. He's great and I have trusted him to operate on both my kids.
