If you are use to the normal way of requesting prescription refills do not use this doctor's office as your medication provider. First off, it seems there are no nurses or doctors available until 1pm, which I find highly suspicious. Second, I was barely able to get a sentence in before being interrupted and put on hold. It seems that in addition to working only 5 hours in a day, they are all psychic at the front desk, knowing that I'm trying to request a simple refill. Then after a lengthy hold time, I am connected with an extremely rude "nurse" who speaks terribly broken English but seems to have the same ability to interrupt me every time I try and request this refill. I am then told that I need to have the pharmacy FAX a request to them for the refill and they will fax the refill order back to them in 48 to 72 hours. Every time I try to explain that I already tried that, I am again interrupted and given the broken record treatment where she simply repeats that I need to call the pharmacy and have them fax the request. This phone call lasted less then 10 minutes and was one of the most terrible examples of customer service I have ever experienced (including talking to the Department of Motor Vehicles). If you are looking for a friendly office staff who treat you like a human being , look elsewhere as these people obviously have no idea what the term "patient care" means. I have never heard of a pharmacy having to provide the refill request! Absurd!

Dr Thorp is a great family doctor. He has a very good bed side manner. He has treated my family for many years, and I have never been unhappy with his care.
