Some time last year I purchased 6 pre-paid HAND car washes. Big mistake! I used only one before they closed for a couple of months for renovation. This renovation turned out to be because they switched to an AUTOMATED car wash. The problem is: I haven't bought AUTOMATED car washes. When I tried to use my rain checks for HAND wash, I was informed they don't offer it anymore and directed me to the automated car wash. When I complained this is not what I paid for, I was offered $5 per wash, even though I paid almost double per wash! All this because I don't have original receipt, only credit card statement, even though they could check their register and know exactly what and for how much I purchased. Now, I'm out of $50 and was refused any kind of service because of complaininig one of their employees was scratching my car.

Touch of Class Auto Care takes no pride in their work and does a substandard job on nearly every car. I got a $50 VIP Wash/Detail ($10 off reg. price) and when I picked up my car the front bumper was filthy and there were still bug guts and spots of bird droppings on the car. They were rude and uninterested when I told them it was not a $50 job. An employee came out with a dry rag and was wiping on the car but not taking care of the problem. I left furious. Don't waste your time or money here. Don't take my word for it, check their reviews on Yelp, Google+ and RipoffReport.com

When I first moved to San Diego, this was the only place I'd go. I've since moved away and now I'm back in San Diego. I brought my truck in for a normal oil change. I expressed to them that I had a different year drivetrain in the truck, and not to go by my vin number to get the engine specs. They assured me that they "will make sure it was right". The next day I noticed oil spots in my driveway. As a couple days goes by there are more and more spots. The next morning, I checked the oil in the truck, and it's over filled. I drove it over to a buddy's shop and he told me that the engine is in fact over filled. He told me that the increased oil amount causes a big pressure change and ended up blowing a seal in the motor. I went back to Touch Of Class, I told them what happened. They did not owe up to it. Bounced me around to a couple different people. I showed them the invoice and they did not list any preexisting issues (because there wasn't any). The owner was there and he "reviewed cameras" "to see if they can verify my claims". The owner had someone come out and tell me to come back another day and talk to a manager that wasn't there. Cut the story short. They did not owe up to the issue. This oil leak caused oil to splash up on my clutch plate, soaking the pads, which caused my clutch to be slipping. So, I just had that replaced now. $1000. My mechanic confirmed the issues I was having and linking it to Touch Of Class' negligence.

I am re-writing this review. The place is good and the workers are friendly but they are always trying to push their products and it gets tired real fast. Maybe there is a new manager? They also didn't put enough oil in my car. It could have caused a problem if I didn't figure that out. I was given a coupon for a free wash. When I went in thinking I would get the basic free wash, they told me they wash the outside only no vaccum. I would have to pay extra for that.

Stay away. These guys don't give a damn about customer service. All they care about is upselling lousy services at a premium price. Used to be a great place. New owners quickly driving it into the ground.

Went to this car wash a couple weeks ago. Dropped two cars there, one for their Super Classic Wash ($24) and the other for a Basic wash ($16). The guy tried several times to get me to upgrade which was annoying. I came back half an hour later and the cars were done. They did a poor job of washing both the cars. The cars still had sap on them, smashed bugs on the front bumper and even dirt in some areas. The basic wash included vacuuming, but the car was not vacuumed at all. To top it off they made two scratches on my new TSX. I would never go there again and would not recommend the place to anyone else.

Never, ever go to this car wash.... Rude owners, bad car wash, every thing that should and will cause a business to close. Some worker scratched the navi screen on my car, I told owner, he asked his workers if they did it , all said NO!( for obvious reasons). Owner said his workers wouldn't lie, so the scratch wasn't done at his carwash. Which I took as I was the one lieing. He was adament that his people didn't do it. He and co-owner yelled at me then demanded that I leave, they don't need my business and to never come back. Who in this economy doesn't need business. Go somewhere else to get your car washed. All carwashes honor competitor coupons. They are really no cheaper than any other carwash. By the way, previous owners were great.

I've gone here several times to get my oil changed. I've never had a problem with them, like I've had with other places (EZ Lube). If there is maintenance required on my car, they let me know and that's it. They don't push for the sale like some people do. They do what they need to do in a timely manner and the prices are reasonable.

This carwash damaged my brand-new car and refused to take responsibility for it. The owner treated me horribly, screaming at me in front of customers and told me to take him to court (I just might). Do not give him your hard-earned dollars! He has bad karma coming.

I come here to get my oil change every couple of months, and to get minor things fixed in my car. I don't get that feeling that I'm being taken advantage of because I am a woman here. They do a fast and thorough job, and if you look for it, you can find a coupon to get a free wash with your oil change every couple of months. I really recommend this place!
