My agent did a fantastic job. This was a tedious negotiation back and forth to get our house sold. She was on top of everything the whole way through.

Donna was fantastic! I was the worst, most stressed out client and she was able to "calm the storm". I so appreciate her! I appreciated the comments received when the Townsend agents toured my home. The written stack I received and the mail was very helpful with constructive thoughts.

The property management department is the worst and should be black listed by the military. Our agents failed to inform our tenants of important information regarding the house. They failed to do all inspections (both those performed by them and those in which we put in writing we wanted done on a specific date ie..termite inspection and hvac servicing) on time and every question we had was met by a disrespectful and condescending attitude from DeAnna. She always had an excuse as to why our simple requests were not being met (things Townsend was obligated to do per our contract). When things went wrong in the house (like the tenats running over our water faucet and them saying the AC didn't work...even though the repairman said it was working fine), we did not find out until we got the bill with our monthly statement. And then when I asked if it was possible to end our contract and seek other representation, she emailed me stating they couldn't provide the service we needed and that our contract was over. Leaving us with tenants they put there in the day after we signed a contract with them. That had bad credit. That we had no voice in allowing to move in or not. And that low and behold...were two weeks late at the time DeAnna said she was ending our contract.

If you are looking for a realtor in Fayetteville, NC, it is my honest opinion that Townsend Real Estate would not be a good choice. I used Townsend to sell my house the past summer and never have I experienced such a high level of un-professionalism in a business in my life. The realtor was not there to support me, but to support what made her the most money. Instead of willing to walk away from the buyer because of unreasonable demands she constantly said that I should do what ever the buyer wanted since that was what I would want if I were a buyer. She didn't have any negotiation skills and had no knowledge of what was on the contract. She would make deals with the buyer without checking with us to see if we were in agreement with the deal. When I brought these and other issues up to Mr. Townsend himself, his response was to blindly back his realtor and not consider my points at all. In my case, Townsend Real Estate was interested in the sale of my home no matter what it cost me.
