This is a small neighborhood joint, so it seems like it should be a friendly place. Unfortunately, we received really bad service from a female bartender. It was bizarre, actually...we felt like we were being pranked b/c she seemed to be mad at us as soon as we walked in the door, but we had never before laid eyes on her! The icy reception continued so much so that we were uncomfortable being there...we'll go elsewhere from now on! Can't imagine why she is employed there.

My favorite place - great staff, fun customers, well-priced (and strong) drinks. Go there twice and they know your name and what you drink. Fun, safe atmosphere for everyone. They had their 25th Anniversary party last week and the crowd was a mix of 20-somethings all the way up to senior citizens - a true neighborhood joint! I'm there all the time and I have never witnessed any "groping" or lewdness (by the way, they don't even have a doorman or bouncer - she must have been somewhere else). Go there and don't worry - you'll have a great time.

This is a great place to go when you just want to get a beer. Great staff and a good selection of beer. Did not try the food, but it looked like typical bar fare. If you like trendy b.s. go elsewhere.

obviously if you are here you have ventured to the "wrong side of the tracks" the staff is unbearable, drinks are too expensive and poorly made, the female bartender did not give a crap that my female friends where being touched and groped on by drunk male patrons . when we complained they were being lude and touching us inappropriately the bartender suggested that we were drunk and needed to leave despite the fact this was our 1st bar stop and we were being pawed on by yuppie men who had obviously been drinking for hours on end, then the big skinhead "security" guy was no help at all, he had been sitting drinking instead of paying attention to the patrons, he did not make the men move away from us at all or make them leave. this place is full of people from the underbelly of atlanta and the staff will not help you or look out for you. stay away go to twains instead, twains is close and nice and friendly
