Horrible experience! Transitional Painting (Mark) is a one man, low budget con man. In my experience (and a neighbor who is currently taking him to small claims court for a terrible tile job) his work ethic is terrible, his skills are nonexistant, and he has absolutly no integrity or honesty. Mark is the type that give decent contractors a bad name. He was hired to paint the peaks on my house within a specific timeframe (2 weeks)to take advantage of a low refiance. I had to purchase the ladder (to be taken out of his pay), he did about an hour and a half of work, during which he did not take to time to scrape, wash or clean the surface, then left never to return. He delayed, made excuses and promised to return for a week and a half before finially telling me he did not want the job. He cost me a $374 ladder I have no use for and a .25% penalty on my morgage refiance! He is a dishonest, unskilled, sad excuse for a person, let alone contractor. Do yourself a favor and check some references before hiring this joker P.S. ask how many claims are agains him.
