We, like most animal lovers consider our pets to be part of our family. We have been taking our pets to Troy Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic for over thirty years. The doctors and staff have always taken excellent care of our animals. Our concerns and questions are answered with complete knowledge and they go to great lengths to find answers for us. It's so comforting that they have so much empathy for us when our animals are sick or can't live on. We always feel that our pets aren't patients but part of their family. We can't imagine going anyplace else.

Wow! Truly Sad doesn't sound like a scenario that would occur at our office. Please call us at 335-8387 and ask for our Practice Manager (Kay) so we can sort this matter out. Regretfully, Lonnie L. Davis DVM Troy Animal Hospital/Bird Clinic, 34 So. Weston Rd., Troy, OH

Dr. Davis has been our vet since 1987. Many of our human and animal friends come to his office for his compassionate care. Our dog Rascal was as close to a family member as he could get without being human. We went through surgeries and the amputation of his leg and finally the day came when he could no longer fight the cancer. Dr. Davis made a house call so Rascal could leave this earth with dignity in his own enviroment. No words can express what that meant to our family. The staff is so efficient and caring, it is a pleasure to go into the office. The Dr's are very professional and knowledgeable.

This vet can not possibly be sincere in their care for animals. What kind of animal doctor would turn away an emergency case that required immediate action to save a small dogs life. On 5/12/11 - I noticed my 3 pound chihuahua choking and trying to dig something out of her mouth. I immediately jumped in the car and headed for the closest animal hospital which is only 5 minutes away. I called information as I drove frantically to Troy animal hospital. I was connected with them and told them I was just around the corner and had a dog that had something stuck in her throat. I was asked my name and upon verification was told that I had a past due balance and they could not treat her. I was appalled that they would turn away the very nature of their business for the almighty buck. I remembered there was another vet down the street and went there. I ran in and asked if they could help me. Even though it was time for them to close they immediately took her and using tweezers extracted a piece of plastic. Thank you Dr. Current and your wonderful assistant at Community Veterinary Clinic at 948 West Main Street. It was a very scary moment for me and my pet and I truly appreciate your help with her.
