I hired this company 5 years ago and they were great - then I hired them earlier this year and it was AWFUL. The rep arrived, treated my house and I paid over $700 in advance for 6 monthly treatments. Six weeks later I called the company because nobody had come to treat my house - they sent someone out that day. Two days later I received a letter from the general manager that they were changing my technician. Two months go by - nobody visits. I called the general manager and left a voicemail - he never called back. I called the office and asked for someone to call me - no one called back. I called my credit card company and filed a complaint - THEY RECOGNIZED TRUTECH AS A COMPANY THAT IS OFTEN DISPUTED. A few weeks goes by and I call Trutech again - this time a manager calls me back and says she never got any of my previous messages. She asks how this can be fixed - I ask for a refund. She calls a few days later and says since I've registered a complaint with my credit card company they can't do anything and I'll have to wait it out. She claims they haven't received notice from the credit card company - she's lying. How did she know I registered a complaint? All told, they failed to respond to the credit card company - meaning they kept my money as long as possible. I signed my contract in April and the credit card company returned my money at the end of November - I received $440 (60% of my original bill). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Trutech did a great job years ago on bees, then later on rats, and more recently on moles. I do find them terribly expensive except for their initial, one-time visit years ago for the bees. The real problem has been with their billing department, a continual problem which I saw early on. From the beginning I made it my business to keep a watchful eye and even to call the company from time to time to be sure we were on track. When the moles were added to the contract, the billing became a nightmare: Telephone calls, emails, sorting through paperwork. Fortunately I had saved the paperwork, along with my notations. Trutech could not establish grounds for the bill but apologized profusely and continually for the confusion and length of time it was taking to sort it out. The office personnel seemed to be running the show, not the manager. I don't believe the bill preparer was trained in accounting. To my surprise, while we were still working on it, I received the same bill again. I telephoned and spoke with a different manager. After 40 minutes, we resolved to compromise - I, to stop the madness and he, because he admitted (and I admire him for his honesty) that there was no paperwork which would serve to substantiate the bill in question.

We had squirrels in the attic with signs of excrement. Trutech was rated on another site but that was a very bad mistake on my part. David came out and talked a good game, explained that there were signs of rats & palmetto bugs living in the attic too. Helpful like a used car salesman at first & insist upon being paid first. They are very over priced..never come out when they say they would nor could we get them to come back to do the job after we paid them. They kept billing us (with finance charges) for work they never did. They would leave statements in our mailbox that they had come to the house & done the work when we were home all day & nobody did anything. The manager Geoff would not return calls. It has been the worst experience! We'd rather have the rats & squirrels as pests than have these people who took our money & did so little work for the $2800 charge. We will NEVER be this stupid again.

Trutech rates highly in two separate business rating publications in Cobb County, so we called it when we noticed some little creature was starting a nest at the bottom of our chimney. Thomas came and assessed the situation, placing traps around the scene and promising to fix the damage once the critter was caught or inveigled to leave. He also checked out the house and noticed we had an attempted "break in" by another critter (that apparently did not work--a check of the attic did not evince activity). He also created a temporary patch up for that spot and included it in the trapping/fix up price. As we were very happy with his service, we inquired as to how much it would cost to deal with the "builder's gap" our house had at the gutter areas. His estimate was very fair (I had this verified by another construction professional) and we agreed to that improvement. Throughout, Thomas was communicative and very professional. I would call him again if we should have activity. Bottom line: our house is safer from critter entrance now than it was before we did business with Thomas and Trutech.

hired them to remove squirrels in attic...the techs dont have enough experience to trap squirrels. they set rat traps and sunflower seeds to trap them in my attic. it did not work they just fed them. when cages were set outside to catch the squirrels it took the techs more than 24 hours to get haul them off. at one point 3 were caught in the ground traps and instead of taking them off 30 miles plus away they were shot and killed at my house. imagine your child hearing that. still have issues with squirrels in the attic. hired a new company...house wasnt sealed properly and expanding foam was used to seal house. they are very over priced..never come out when they say they would nor could do the job.

Trutech did a great job of removing squirrels from our attic. Jonathan is very professional and hard working. He removed a nest from our gutter and placed traps in our attic and roof. He returned several times until all the squirrels were trapped and removed. We have not had a problem since! We highly recommend Trutech!

While I was away on business my home was invaded by rats. I quickly googled "rat removal" and Trutech was one of the first companies that popped up. I was a little hesitant with their initial trapping price but I went ahead and agreed to let them come out because my wife and kids were dealing with this all by themselves! They came out and demanded that we pay nearly $2500 to seal up our house and then pay a monthly fee for rodent poison on top of that! My wife said thanks but no thanks and the technician demanded that they should be paid. Finally they agreed to an inspection fee and we contacted another local company and they did more than what Trutech had offered at a much lower price! I looked up Trutech's BBB rating and they were an F! Please don't make the mistake I did, go with a reputable company.

Overpriced and poor results. They call you and want to come out with only an hour or two of notice and then you can't get them back out to perform regular service and they still bill you for it. Bugs everywhere. The positive reviews are probably written by Trutech employees. Run from these guys.

Trutech did an expensive exclusion service when I had a rat (about $1200) which was (seemimgly) performed professionally and as scheduled. 14 months later, I once again had rats. I vaguely recalled my contract required an $240 annual renewal. Assuming my house was sealed, I had not renewed. But I also noticed that the contract only covered squirrels, and my problem was rats. So a renewal would have been useless anyway. (Don't know where that came from.) Trutech was polite and professional when I called, but said it would be a minimum of $189 even to come out and look at it, and avoided all responsibility. At that point I went to another company. THEY came out for a FREE evaluation. He quickly noted Trutech's completely unprofessional work. The holes in the foundation had been filled with spray foam--the rats chewed right through it. No wire mesh was applied to foundation vent openings. Mesh on attic vents was only half screwed down. Nothing was done to chimney. Flashing in construction gap was too narrow--inadequate (and wrong screws used). I had to pay to have the exclusion done over, and THIS company guarantees against ALL varmints, with inexpensive biennial renewals. Nothing true about Trutech except their high prices. Better companies are out there that really stand by their work.

After being told by another company that we had rats in our attic and after not seeing any improvement after several months of "service", we decided to switch to Trutech. Immediately we were told we had squirrels, NOT rats (thank goodness). Within a couple of weeks the problem was solved, the squirrels moved out, and the construction gaps closed off. All of this was over $1000 cheaper than the previous company quoted to close the gaps. Amazing!! I highly recommend this company if you have any kind of rodent problems. They are very professional and knowledgeable.

We used Trutech to remove squirrels and prevent further infestation, and to add more insulation in our attic. Our main contact was Nick Yohn and he is outstanding. Nick explained our options, answered our questions, and did all the squirrel work. We have not had any more squirrels in the attic since he removed them and closed all the access points. Nick is very professional and responsive, and easy to get in contact with. He always followed up when he said he would. The insulation installation also went well. Highly recommended!

TruTech is currently trapping beavers in our neighborhood and had to set a trap in my backyard. After talking to them, I had them come back to my house and look at a potential squirrel problem. They were very professional and clearly explained what needed to be done. I liked their professionalism so much that I quickly signed a contract to swtich from Cook's. They just seem more knowledgeable and more willing to talk you through the process. I highly recommend them.

We've been with Trutech for a number of years. They first eliminated squirrels in our attic, and we continued our monthly contract with them. They are very responsive and come quickly when we have a problem.

We used Trutech to get rid of squirrels in our attic. The technicians we have worked with have been great, friendly, on time, and reassuring. We eventually moved our regular pest control to them and have been very pleased with the service there too.

I had ants in my kitchen and needed help quickly. I contacted Trutech and spoke with Brad Peeler, who assured me he could get rid of the ants and he was right! He showed up on time, was very personable and professional. I was very pleased with the service!
