I called inquiring about an online deal, and the man at this location was extremely rude to me, condescendingly calling me "sweetheart," and telling me I was "misinterpreting" and was "confused." After assuring him I was NOT confused, I emailed him my reservation info showing the special and its terms. He actually HUNG UP on me, twice, while I was talking to him, saying he needed to help other customers. After an hour, he finally called me back (after I emailed him twice and gave him my contact information, since he said he'd call me back before hanging up on me, but of course didn't ask for my phone number), and he told me that since it was a "modified reservation," he couldn't help me because his "system" wouldn't allow it. He told me that only a "uhaul center" could process it, and not just any dealership. Frustrated, we went to the uhaul center on 5th avenue instead. Once we got there, we received excellent customer service, and the man working there actually told us the man at U-haul Neighborhood Dealer on Pole Line LIED to us, and that he had the exact same system as all the other uhauls and could have processed our reservation just fine. He in turn called a corporate office and told them that this dealer "refused to take care of the customer," and then had us out the door with our truck in less than 10 minutes. Skip this rude, lying dealer and head to 5th!!!
