This bank is garbage. No wonder there are never any customers in there. I closed my account yesterday because of the shinanigans they try to pull. Last week, I deposited $500 into my acct. Later in the day, I went out and made three purchases for minimal amounts (ie; $10-$25). All purchases cleared with my bankcard without any problems. The next day I look at my acct online and discover taht I was charged $27.50 for each transaction that I did. I called and questioned this and was told that the funds ($500) were on hold and that by making these purchases, I was essentially doing the same thing as writing bad checks. Go figure! They didn't mention that the funds were on hold when I made the deposit nor did they stop my bankcard from allowing the purchases to be completed. How would I know that these were not available. When I went into the bank to discuss this, the manager (I suppose- gray haired man in mid-to-late 40s) asked what the problem was and why I was closing it. I explained and he said exactly the same thing as if it were scripted for employees with dissatisfied customers. He didn't seem to want to want to rectify the problem or save my acct- he really seemed indifferent. The teller helping me (Jiovana)seemed indifferent as well and I even commented to her about the gentleman's behavior by saying "I guess he doesn't want to save a customer". She handed me my receipt and ignored my frustration totally. Apparently they enjoy being a bank with very few customers.
