I love coming here on the weekends and meeting up with friends, especially when I'm just not in the mood to hit up downtown. Overall experience has always been good (and memorable).

U-31 is a pretty awesome spot that I could see myself going to once a week. The dress is real casual (like, I can wear my slippers casual). $5 cover, good prices on alcohol, awesome music (top 40's and house when I went.. Ruggy was on the one's and two's), and trendy looking people. What's not to like?

Good number of college kids, with people ranging from the heavily tatooed, to gangsta. You even had the old dude with the Hawaiian shirt breaking it down. The dj they had this particular evening was pretty rocking. He played a very eclectic set going from hip hop, to 80's, house, and even the 50's. It was great to see the thugs dancing to "Bette Davis eyes" remix. $5 cover, not too bad either.

U-31 Lounge is da bomb(pun intended)! No trendy types here, just loclas. Open space, do what-ya-want area and plenty cozy places to sit. Good blends of hiphop, alternative, hard house.

I've been here once and this bar/lounge is not that bad considering it is in North Park area. The interior of the place is nicely decorated with a pool table and a cool ambiance. The drinks aren't too pricy, in comparison to downtown bars. I went on a Saturday, and the place was pretty packed. They played good hip-hop music. I wish the place was slightly bigger, but overall the place was great.

Looks like the crowd from the Office came over here. Definitely not the downtown crowd that is for sure. Decent drinks at a reasonable price. Good times.
